Have I missed ovulation??

Hi, so I'm Ttc c1 however last month I did track ovulation but partner was away. I have been doing opks since cd8 (Clearblue advanced) today I'm cd 13.. tested yesterday morning which was flashy then very late last night I went toilet and saw a lot of ewcm!! Unfortunately at that point partner was asleep. Tested this morning again another flashy... then at work I've had very mild cramps in my ovaries so when I got home did another test and got a static on cb and a positive on a cheapie!! I wish I took one later in the day yesterday because of last night im thinking have I missed ovulation?! We haven't dtd much because of work last time was 3d ago!

So as soon as you got a positive, your body will start the ovulation process so to speak. You will ovulate within the next 12-72 hours, and after that, the egg will stay fertile for a couple of hours. I think as a rule of thumb you say a day after your positive test you will ovulate. If you can, DTD today, and you covered your bases. Maybe tomorrow as well, just to be on the safe side :)

@Bundaberg84 thanks for your reply. If it hadn't have been for the ewcm last night I wouldn't be in so much doubt that I've already ovulated today. Im hoping I haven't missed my chance! Defo going to dtd tonight!!

If it's any help, I always get EWCM day before my ovulation.
You didn't miss your chance. Even if you ovulated that very day, you'd still be in with the 3 days DTD prior to that date, as sperm will survive up to 5 days in your body.

@Bundaberg84 that's really helpful thank you. Seems so bizarre how my cb was flashing this morning and then solid this afternoon! Hopefully this means ovulation tomorrow. So confusing
