I don't ovulate?

It's only been three months since I had my coil removed but I've been tracking my cycles and taking ovulation tests from Boots with each cycle. Every single ovulation test I've taken has been negative. I'm 38 so I'm starting to get concerned that there's an issue and it's more than just me not taking the tests at the right time.
How does it work with the NHS? If I asked to speak to a doctor about my concerns would they tell me to naff off for another 9 months, or with my age being considered would they look at the possibility of underlying issues now?

I can't help you re: NHS as I live outside of UK, but you mentioned that every single ovulation test has been negative. As in, no line at all? Or you didn't see a peak? Did you use an app like premom?

It may be you are missing your peak...mine is very quick and once my test line starts to darken I test 2/3 times a day.

Are your periods regular?

I had my progesterone checked to confirm I was ovulating before we TTC, due to my age and we were booking a private vasectomy reversal so wanted to be sure. No harm in asking your gp

Also buy yourself a Basel body thermometer or some like like an Ava bracelet. It helps to monitor your temperature as well to see it you are ovulating.
This is a good website too www.tcoyf.com/
Her book is very comprehensive and helpful

How long are you cycles, when do you start ovulation testing and which tests do you use?

As you're over 35 your gp will step in after 6 months of ttc. However if you're not ovulating I would go straight away.

How long is your cycle?
What days do you get EWCM?
What days are you testing with OPKs?

I used ovulation kits and they were always negative. Can't remember the brand but they weren't too expensive. I had a coil beforehand and was pregnant 4 months later. You have to be in such a teeny window with those kits I wonder if they just made me worry!
I have a feeling for the nhs to investigate you have to be trying about a year- although with the way wait lists are at the moment that might have changed!
