Could this be a BFP?

Hi all, could this be a bfp? Everything I've googled says an evap line won't have any colour. Can colour bleed from one test to another?

I haven't had periods for a while, I think a supplement was affecting me. Anyway, got a period in January, have done an opk every day since to see what's going on there/get a baseline. The opk is at the bottom in the pic. Been ttc for 6 years and this would be the 4th if its positive. When there's no question of pregnancy my tests have nothing whatsoever on them and I tested this batch of strips with my dh's pee last Monday as a control test and nothing came up on it.

Last week I felt very sick and dizzy on Monday, 8dpo, so started testing. Got the faintest lines, going fainter then slightly darker (but still quite squinted eeally) then fainter. The dizziness and nausea tapered off on Tuesday but ever so slight dizziness and nausea happened on and off.

Had a blood test on Thursday (4 days after suspected implantation) which was negative.

Tested again this morning (14dpo) and got this, although it was some time since I did it and went back in and found this. It's obviously after the 10 min cut off, but it's got colour?

What do you think? Confused

Could this be a BFP?

Bump no pun intended 🤰😂

I think as it’s after the time period to read it’s really best to get a new test, and a decent one and do it properly. People can’t guess for you, I’m sorry.

LottyD32 · 27/02/2022 12:17

Ok thanks, it started forming within the time frame but wasn't dark like this before I left the bathroom (I left before 10 mins as it was so faint again).

If it helps, when I got my bfp my line didn't come up within the timeframe and I only happened to see it when I walked past the bin in the bathroom 2 hours later (14dpo). I tested the following day and then it did come up straight away.

I'm probably on the way out. I had a feel of where my cervix was earlier and the next time I went to the toilet there was the tiniest bit of orangey brown jellyish discharge on the tissue. Nothing since though.

God knows what this dizziness and nausea has been. Its been on and off for a week and I needed to lie down out of the time.

I think it was a chemical pregnancy. No AF, 15dpo but getting a line as soon as I do the test but it's barely visible.

Now just to wait for AF so we can start again.

MrsHemsworth · 01/03/2022 18:57

Hope you're OK @LottyD32

LottyD32 · 01/03/2022 19:20

I'm OK thank you! No AF yet, still lots of dizziness and nausea. Confusing hpt's still.

Dh's (control) test now has an evap line completely different to my lines and I tested water again today and its as white as a sheet. My lines are still coming up straight away but are so, so faint. I think they are minisculey darker than last week though.

Have you tried a different brand of test? FRER or a clear blue digital? Might give you a more definite answer. Good luck with whatever result you hope for.

LottyD32 · 01/03/2022 19:36

No I haven't, I've only got Internet cheapies at the moment.

An ordinary no brand test here is 10e, so God know how much a frer would be.

I can have a blood test for free through my health care but I'm waiting for something more definite before I ask for another one (had one on Thursday), so I don't look obsessed to my gp.

The line was fainter today.

I just want AF to turn up now so we can move on. Symptoms practically gone but they are worse in the afternoon/evening.

It's so strange because last night I was nearly sick, out of nowhere (although I was dizzy).

ConfusedAngry Strongest line yet this morning! Despite symptoms fading - but later on I got the test wet when I was going to try to take a photo 🙄🙄🙄

God knows what's going on. If I get a result I can take to the Dr's tomorrow, I'll book a appointment.

I haven't been online for a few days but have been thinking of you @Lotty and wondering how you were getting on.

LottyD32 · 04/03/2022 12:55

This was yesterday's test, in the morning. It was darker again later on, which was when I went to take another pic and got it wet. It was also more visible in person.

Today's test is lighter again.

Could this be a BFP?
OP posts:
LottyD32 · 05/03/2022 08:55

This is today's test.

Very slight dizziness 2-3 times yesterday.
A bit this morning.
A slight feeling in my womb area this morning.
But I don't know if its psychosomatic.

These show up if inverted. I can't work out how to save them as inverted though, if I screen shot while it's on, it changes back when I turn it off.

The line starts forming within a minute or two but takes longer than 10mins I think to fully darken, and I've just looked again and I'm not sure if it's slightly less dark than when I took these.

Are you around 20dpo now? Are you ever normally this late?

ExactlyThis · 05/03/2022 21:57

If really expect blazing lines at this stage. GP app I think x

LottyD32 · 06/03/2022 11:55

@MrsHemsworth

I have no idea, I was on depo-provera and the implant, which stopped my periods for about 20 years then when I came off it after meeting my now dh I was regular for around a year, but we weren't tracking too much because we didn't expect it to be as difficult as it has been.

That was roughly 6 years ago. Then it all went haywire and irregular. I was eventually referred to an NHS fertility Dr, had provera and clomid, then my periods dropped out to practically 1 a year, but got pregnant each time, had a mmc and 2 chemicals. We should have a 2yr old, 1yr old and a newborn.

All this time since seeing the fertility Dr I've been taking inofolic but stopped in December. In December I ovulated, had a period in January and now this. I think the inofolic was messing everything up.

Sore boobs started yesterday and for a while I've had watery discharge, which occasionally feels like a flood so I have to go to the toilet to see if it's a period.

But I can't believe this is anything more than a cp or blighted ovum.

I would get a scan hun quickly as this could possibly be ectopic, not trying to scare you but just have a few friends had them and dizziness, lines not darkening and then darkening etc best to just check it out in case . Hopefully it’s nothing to worry about though

LottyD32 · 06/03/2022 22:11

Thanks I'll ring my Dr's tomorrow. The dizziness seems to have gone pretty much now, just a sore boob (just the one, to stick with the contrairiness, I don't even know how to spell that 😆 )

OP posts:
MrsHemsworth · 06/03/2022 23:01

I'm sorry to hear about your previous losses.

As PPs have said it sounds like it's time to go to the GP. Hope you can get an appointment.

LottyD32 · 07/03/2022 00:38

Thank you, we aren't in the UK now and have to have private health care so I should be able to be seen quickly.

OP posts:
LottyD32 · 15/03/2022 07:05

I hate when you are searching for answers and people don't update their threads, so I didn't go to the gp, the lines faded to no colour two days ago and the dizziness stopped properly almost a week ago. Just waiting for AF now.
