Short Luteal Phase - VitB Complex? Cyclogest?

Hi ladies,

Does anyone take vitamin B complex to lengthen their luteal phase?

I have also got some cyclogest to take after a bfp but it's been recommended for me to take it just after ovulation to keep my progesterone levels higher. Does anyone do this and if so, how much do you take daily?

Thanks! X

Hi Louisa, I use cyclogest 400mg twice a day after ovulation. It's usually for one week from day 18 of cycle then stop and see if AF shows, or alternatively twice a day til 14dpo, then take a pregnancy test if no AF beforehand. Vitamin b didnt help to change my luteal length. Hope that helps Smile

Heya, I have just been prescribed cyclogest too, twice a day 400 mg. I was told to take day after ovulation ( I am doing ovulation tracking with a radiologist) I was told to take every day and take a test at 12dpo and if I am pregnant see them straight away to check progesterone levels. I started on Friday so very new to it all, but it appears I have short lutal phases. (First pregnancy was fine and took 4 months to conceive but I had some birth trauma that led to me having a hysteroscopy due to scarring, not sure if they are both related but think my lining and hormone changes might be down to stress as I lost my dad after my dd was born.

How many cycles have you been on it @FlyingGiraffe? Xx

Hi both ,

Thanks for your comments! I have a prescription for cyclogest for when I get a bfp but I am planning on taking it from the day after I ovulate this time round to see if it makes any difference! Fingers crossed it works!
I hope it works for you ladies! X
