Does a static smiley definitely mean ovulation is going to happen in 12-24 hrs ?

Yes I think it’s up to 36 hrs, so assume the next day is ‘o’ day!

It's so odd as I am now 6dpo and I'm getting flashing smileys on the clearblue ovulation and positives on my cheepie oks I'm so confused x

Yeah, it can be up to 48 though and there are incidences where you’ll get an LH surge but not necessarily release an egg.

I find it so odd as I have been having positive oks and flashing smiley on clearblue for ages now I'm thinking surely my second lh surge should be gone by now also have a taken a hpt today that was negative I am only 7dpo do you think it may be to early to test ?

My strip OPKs were always a stronger test line than the control. It could just be that they’re nearly positive.

You could just have naturally high LH and the Clearblue will be looking for a surge rather than a constant.

Do you have PCOS?

I'm hoping it is that I just have high lh hormone in my body I haven't got pcso that I'm aware of a part of me is hoping for it to be pregnancy as I'm aware eastrogen stays a little higher if you have conceived but the chances of that are minimal I know x
