Retained tissue after birth affects on fertility?

I gave birth to my DD 9 weeks ago. The birth was fine except it took a while for them to get the placenta out. I have only just stopped bleeding and so they sent me for an ultrasound to check. Apparently there’s still a little retained tissue as the womb wall looks uneven on the scan. I’ve got to wait for a doctor appointment to either be given some medication or have it surgically removed. The person doing the scan didn’t seem concerned and said it was only a small amount. I will ask the doctor when they get in touch but I just wanted to know if this would have a negative affect on my fertility int he future? This was my first baby and we’d definitely want to try for another in time. If anyone has been in a similar situation it’d be great to know the outcome.
