Clearblue flashing smiley CD9

Hi all, I came off the implant in Jan this year, started period 2 days later and cycle has gone back to text book 28 days! I started tracking my ovulation first circle (after implant)with clear blue, I had static smiley on 2nd feb so think I ovulated 4th which 2-was CD16.. but we didn't try as partner was away. So this month we are giving it a try for the first time. I started tracking with advanced Clearblue on CD8 got a blank circle as expected, this morn (CD9) I expected the same but I got a flashing smiley .. has anyone had flashing so early on??

Yes last cycle I got mine on CD9 solid smily on CD13. I usually have a 27 day cycle but December was 30 but think that was due to the Covid booster.

I was @lollyx96 I just found out I'm pregnant this week.
So that was last month flashing smiley on CD9. I thought I was out last month as we didn't manage DTD that much. X

@HellsBellsK oh wow congratulations!! if you don’t mind me asking, how long were you Ttc for? And when did you dtd on that cycle?? I’m so new to all this!

This was our 3rd month for baby number 3.
So got flashing smiley on CD9,
DTD CD 10 & 12 got static smiley CD13 then DTD again CD15 and that was it. So I really thought I missed it. I would have DTD the day I got the static smiley and the day after but DH was sick so we didn't.
So only difference is this cycle is we had less sex 🙈

@lollyx96 my flashing smileys for the last 3 cycles started about 2 days after AF finished. I’ve had flashing as early as CD5 to CD7. I get atleast 8 days of flashing and even up to 10 days before my static. The flashing face detects oestrogen not LH so it’s picking up a different hormone. The static detects LH so some people get loads of flashing before their LH surge and some people only get a couple of days.

Everytime I’ve used clear blue I’ve only had one blank circle day and then straight onto flashing. I also tracked my ovulation this cycle using temps so I know I’ve ovulated normally. Just thought I’d add that too x

I have 27 day cycles and have tested positive on CD19 with my youngest. I must ovulate around day 6-9.

@Newbiemg thank you so much that’s really helpful!! Although it’s only my second time using Clearblue I did wonder if there was a pattern because I got a blank then flashy the first time too! I got so excited with the first one but now I’ve done my research it’s just annoying 😂

Good luck! I sometimes have flashy thst early on or around cycle day 11! I can sometimes have 8/9 flashing but other months only 4! Roughly same point in cycle as you, waiting on my static! Good luck.

I know the feeling! After a while you just feel like those smiley faces are taking the mick out of you 😂… sending you lots of luck ✨
