@Skl2021 im sorry that you didn’t get offered any more reassurance 😖 I wish there were specialist midwives for this topic! What are you thinking with regards to a scan now, might you book a private one or do you think you can wait until the 12 weeks? Brilliant news that the brown discharge / spotting has stopped!

@aesgriff that is an amazing twin history in your family, I would love to be a twin / to have twins. You never know!!

I’ve just ordered the hcg tests from medichecks ladies so will feedback how I get on with them for anyone else interested xx

@speake I wasn't shocked tbh I knew nothing would be done and it would be normalised! Yes would be helpful to have specialist midwife's! Someone who understands our feeling and anxietys! I don't know about scan yet I am thinking about maybe having a private one. Just need time to think. If money was no object I'd be having loads 🙈 how are you doing? Xx

@aesgriff 2 hours! That is some restraint you have. I know when I was last pregnant every twinge sent me down a rabbit hole.

Sorry that you didn't get any more answers @skl2021. I know clinically that's all they can offer, but it would be good if there was some additional help to offer women who have experienced loss before because those weeks before the next appointment may as well be months!

@Skl2021 that's true, you did expect it to be fairly uneventful but I agree that there should be some support for women in the same situation. Even if it's just from a mental health perspective. Saying that - if take the positives in that you haven't spotted since and that the midwife has said it's normal (they are the experts!) 💕

@speake how many did you buy? I'm interested to know how you get on!

@aesgriff 2 hours is excellent! I managed about an hour and bummed myself out again. I never learn 🙈 oh wow, that's good odds that you could have a twinny in there! Got my fingers crossed for you (I secretly would love my next to be a twin too!!)

Hi, I hope you don't mind me joining I miscarried just after Christmas with my first baby and I've had my first period back end of January. I just took a test and I think its showing positive not 100% sure as I have issues with colour vision but all I feel is a bag of nerves of if I am how am I going to wait until the first scan

@Skl2021 I know what you mean, peeing on sticks is an expensive habit let alone multiple private scans! 🙈 I’m ok thank you, still such early days with me but I’m trying to be positive. Although that being said I can’t bring myself to schedule a booking appt or contact the EPU. I think one good thing that came out of the recurrent miscarriage clinic for me was that I could just book scans at my local EPU for reassurance from 6/7 weeks but I don’t want to, I’m so scared to have to do another internal scan and be left in limbo once again. Im trying to live in blissful ignorance at the moment.

@bunnykins123 I just ordered one test kit so I think it’s the two blood tests 48 hours apart, hoping one will be enough to satisfy the anxiety although not sure what hubby will make of it! xx

@aesgriff I am exactly the same with the testing LH every few hours when high. Only my levels are not coming back down 🤦‍♀️

@Cruz86 I'm tempted on ordering the progesterone one a week before my period is due. Very tempted 😅

@speake I can't believe these things exist 😂 if I'm lucky enough to fall it's deffo something I'll be doing. But then with the history of Ectopic the EPAU want to take over as soon as I find out

@HoneyLemon29 here’s mine from the cycle I’ve just caught from. They are looking really similar! I would also 100% recommend the progesterone kits too from medichecks. At 5dpo mine was 20.1 then at 14dpo it had gone up to 46.1!!! Xx

@speake I feel the same as you r.e booking appointment. Think if everything is ok on Friday then I’ll book a private scan for 7 weeks. If it’s ok then I’ll complete my midwife referral. How many weeks are you? Xx

@Skl2021 I’ve got one boob that feels like a rock with needles in it and the other feels ok. Starting to feel tired today too. Petrified of Friday and then if that goes on petrified of another MMC!! Gonna see how it goes and if all ok Friday will book a private scan for 7 weeks then complete midwife referral. £79 for window to the womb here.. other place is £95… 😳😳 xx

@HoneyLemon29 that looks completely normal to me, mine was similar last cycle and I got pregnant, also ignore the numbers on Premom just go by your eyes. My peak last month was 0.77 but I had a dye stealer OPK as long as you can see the difference that's what matters I'd say 💕

Why did you all mention the HCG blood tests 😂 this will be a new way for me to throw away money instead of POAS if I conceive again 😂 ( secretly chuffed you mentioned it 😂)

@arianasky that's true - I actually tested a few days ago just to make sure there was no indent etc. I've kept it as a guide! As if FRER and CB haven't already got enough from us!

@aesgriff my partner is ready 🤣🤣 I'm slightly nervous and excited over this. With my first loss they told me my progesterone was a low 9! So I'm intrigued to see how it comes back, and that it'll finally confirm ovulation for me which is a huge thing when you've had surgery to remove some of your fertility 😩
