Just leaving epu. They've booked me in for a scan on the 7th so only just over a week to wait. Then they'll talk about progesterone if everything is going in the right direction.

Hey ladies. Sorry for the long wait I don't know if I'm coming or going. We saw baby and heartbeat. I'm measuring 7+4 so a couple of days behind my dates but a week and half behind my period dates which I don't know if I should be worried. I went in expecting the worst and broke down but they seem happy with everything. Now I don't know if I feel better or worse. I'm relieved everything is ok but I'm still worried now waiting for something to go wrong like last time at a later date. It's just so much to handle xx

That is great news @Skl2021 I was also a couple of days behind my dates and a week behind my period dates (but I know I have a 35 day cycle so was less worried about that). Fabulous that all is ok!!! Xxx

@Skl2021 it must be so hard not to get a definitive answer, but focus on the positives- you saw a heartbeat that's amazing news!

Could they saw where the bleeding was coming from?

@Bridgey8 yes I ovulated later so was expecting a week out. I'm such a nervous wreck 😥 just want to get to 12 weeks x

@theblueflowers no said it was unexplained bleeding which is what they said last time aswell 😩 I know I should be focusing on the positives it's just so hard xx

I hear you @Skl2021 it's 4 weeks today until my scan and I'm literally petrified every minute of every day. I find it so easy to convince myself that something is wrong, that I won't make it to 12 weeks or I will and there won't be a heartbeat anymore. Time seems like it's standing still. I was tempted to get another scan in between but I know even if all looks good I will just feel overanalyse..like the baby hasn't grown enough etc. It's never ending!

@Cruz86 nope won't rescan before 12 weeks. They booked me in for one around 12 weeks with them but I don't know why as I will have had my actual 12 week scan before that unless they cancel that 🤔 my head wasn't with it so just went along with it x

@Skl2021 I’m so happy to read this. I know you’re still very worried but this seems like one giant step in a positive direction 🙏🏻

@Bridgey8 I thought I would feel better but I feel worse. I'm on edge waiting for it to go wrong. I lost baby at 10 weeks so very anxious as I get close to that again. Don't know If I can make it to 12 weeks the stress and anxiety is unreal. Might have to book private scan after 10 weeks x

Oh I'm sure your head was all over the place @Skl2021. Are you able to afford a private scan yourself? Xx

@Ganesh2022 the thing that is worrying me is the timeline is exactly the same as the miscarriage. Had scan at 7 weeks and all was fine like now then miscarried at 10 so I think until I get past that point I will be a nervous wreck xx

They base dates on a 28 day cycle don’t they? Even though barely anyone has one

@Skl2021 this is amazing news! I had a feeling all would be okay 💕 so pleased for you. You probably need to allow a day or so for your anxiety levels to drop before you start feeling a bit more relaxes about the pregnancy. It sounds like everything is going perfectly - delighted!

@Skl2021 understand your thoughts on timeline. I had a blighted ovum before... so when I was scanned at 7 weeks there was just a sac. Then had to wait 10 days to be sure as I might have got my dates wrong. So my scan at 7 weeks this time was a billion times better and I thought I would feel so much better about reaching that milestone.... but I'm still just so anxious it's unreal. I just feel like I'm constantly holding my breath xx

@calimc83 yes I'm thinking about it. Don't want to get to 12 weeks to find out something was wrong. It's just constant worrying 😩 xx

@Bridgey8 it's horrible we should be so happy and were consumed with anxiety and worry. Yes I feel the not being able to breathe I hope it gets easier 💞 xx

@Skl2021 absolutely amazing news, I’m so happy for you! Have they given you progesterone for the bleeding or anything to help with that? I know from my own experience too that seeing a healthy baby / heartbeat doesn’t mean it will all be ok but please try and live in the moment and be happy with what you saw today. This is a new baby / pregnancy and just because it happened before doesn’t mean it will again 🤍 All easier said than done I know, feeling so relieved for you xxx
