Conception

When's the best time to get pregnant? Use our interactive ovulation calculator to work out when you're most fertile and most likely to conceive.

Is this a sign/normal?

So I am trying for my second baby and the first was difficult to conceive. Nearly a year of ovulation sticks, tracking etc.

I remember all that fairly clearly, particularly the pain around ovulation time.

Now it's my first cycle trying. Had period. All over then the day after I got the ovulation pains. Is this too soon? It's been two days in a row now so is that bad?

I've also had two days of non stop throwing up that started the night after our first non ovulation unprotected session. Husband keeps saying I might be pregnant but I think that's not likely. It's just getting my hopes up, right. (Tbf had ridiculous morning sickness with my first)

I'm worried I might have missed my window for my second as I'm nearly 36 now.

Anyway, sorry for ramblings hope someone can help x

You sure it was your period and not implantation bleed? I’d definitely be doing a test to check.

It had to be my period because we'd only had protected sex prior.
Ok yeah, I suppose there's a very small chance the contraceptive failed but we've used condoms for 10+ years and never any failure.
I did have covid recently (about three weeks ago) so if it is early ovulation I hope it's temporary :(

Oh, it could be COVID messing with you then
