Is this an anovulatory chart?

Hi all,

I am 37yo ttc #1 for 7 months.
Stopped coc July 21 and have had regular periods 30-35 day cycle, ovulating on day 16-20 based on opks and temp rise with a literal phase between 13-16 days.

Something’s gone wrong with my cycle this month- I was away in wales during follicular phase so only started mid cycle. I’ve had 3 lh ‘highs’ (around 0.7/0.5 but haven’t seen a peak) and temps have stayed stagnant around 36.3/4. I’ve had various bouts of watery/egg white cm and cervical position has been high and soft for ages!

But I’ve had numerous negative pregnancy tests (last on cycle day 40 with first response)

Please help- why isn’t my period coming?! 😔
Has anyone else had a similar experience and how long does it usually take for a period to start?

Looks like you haven’t ovulated yet, but were maybe gearing up to around day 38/39 then something stalled it.

Have you had a Covid vaccine recently? Or anything hugely stressful happen, like a bereavement or similar huge upheaval? After similar I had a 90-day cycle where ovulation just went awol. It came back eventually!

If it doesn’t return in the next few weeks I’d see your GP to get it kickstarted rather than messing around with internet advice or remedies. Good luck.

When this happened to me I basically skipped a cycle, ovulated around day 46 and finally got my period two weeks later on day 60.

@stuntbubbles - no vaccine and no stress that I can think of! I thought 40 days was long but can’t even contemplate 90! I’ve been referred for fertility tests so am doing my hormones etc but was supposed to do day 4 progesterone levels- no point if period hasn’t started 😂 I may have to give the GP a call- I literally have no symptoms whatsoever. If I didn’t want a baby so much, this would be great!

@TheBirdintheCave - this is a more hopeful. I guess I’ll keep testing lh/bbt and wait and see what happens

The last cycle I ovulated quite late CD22/23, so my period showed up on CD38. But I started Acupuncture and increased my Ubiquinol levels, so all this might be the reason, who knows.

Not ovulated yet but carry on testing/temping as it'll come eventually most likely!

Btw progesterone tests are done at 7-9dpo (often called day 21 test) so make sure your GP hasn't scheduled it in for day 3. A lot of them get the tests mixed up... Day 3 should be things like FSH/LH, testosterone, prolactin etc

@Juno231 thank you! They’ve requested so many bloods so I thought it was just progesterone being tested- she said day 4 and day 21 but hard to book with such an irregular cycle.

I shall try to not read too much into every small thing (he, my temp went right back up again today - I am trying to not look at individual days but it’s so hard because I am so impatient!!!!) ..pulls at hair and runs around room screaming

I’m not sure but it looks like there’s a shift in temp here- but I’ve been spotting pink/red on a liner for last 4 days.

I wonder if this is period finally starting (no cramps or any other discomfort) or dare I hope, an implantation bleed?!!
