Hi everyone , I’m TTC baby number 2. dc is now 2.
Can’t believe how impatient I am. We are starting our first cycle . Anyone else starting their first cycle.
I’ve brought clear blue ovulation tests. Anything else that can help! X

We're starting our first cycle too. Took us a good 9+ months to conceive No1 plus have had development worries since birth so quite nervous about this time. DH is ollldddd and I'm now officially geriatric mum (36 if I conceive quickly).

What worked for me last time was the clear blue smiley face ovulation sticks. I'm considering the super expensive machine as well but don't know anyone who has had success with them.

All my friends are very much in the 'he looked at me and I conceived' camp so don't really have anyone to talk to about this.

@Avle20 we are trying for baby no 2 first cycle too! I got my coil out 21 days ago (first of feb) so have no clue where i am in my cycle for ovulation just climbed him like a tree and hoped for the best 😂😂

I have an 18 month old son xxx

I’ve found since my covid vaccinations that my periods have changed.

I used to be very regular and in for around seven days. All my periods were the same. Now they vary and I can be off on day five or six then back on again day seven. Will this affect my ovulation day. I’ve brought the easy@hone Premom ovulation kit too. Im going to try my clear blue ones in a few days they are just so expensive!

I'm not sure if it will effect your cycle that your periods are irregular, but I think your best bet is to track really well.

I'm thinking of getting this fertility test. How did everyone conceive their first? For me the clear blue smiley tests seemed to make the difference but was challenging anyway as Dh always had a lower libido than me.

I need to get back on that then. I got some boots ones because they were on offer but it's probably worth throwing money at it haha.

@Littlemissmuffet720 I used clear blue digital ovulation tests with dd and was pregnant first cycle. Dh has now come to the realisation of hoe much u want another child. I have been reading up so much on conceiving🤦‍♀️

I might have to pick your brain then. Been getting some weird symptoms tbh, I swear I started ovulation yesterday. Two days after my period ended. That can't be right. Also massive nausea yesterday but it's too early for morning sickness (but obviously a part of me hopes it is haha!)

Oh does anyone else feel a weird kind of guilt trying for the second that your focus is less on the first. I do desperately want #2 but do worry about how it will effect Ds1 as well.

Me too! DS was immediate. I’m now waiting for AF on my third cycle :( not sure where we’re going wrong! We’ve been using clear blue smiley sticks and tracking on lots of apps.

I kind of feel the opposite, like I’ve given so much to DS there is no way I can do the same with a second 🤦🏻‍♀️

Very unlikely, timeline was thus: condom sex until period 14th February ( so fun valentine's for us lol) 15,16,17 period. 18 or 19 sex. Day after weird all day vomming. Think it was a big though as shivering etc too.

But obviously the hopeful part of me hopes it'll be easier this time lol

@Littlemissmuffet720 so your ovulation day should be this Sunday? So as far as I’m aware your most fertile this week. Up until Sunday if your period started on the 14th.

Ah ok that's useful, the ovulation calculator I used seemed to think later but I think going by possible ovulation rumblings earlier makes sense.
My stupid ovulation stick didn't work this morning so will have to 'get back on the horse tomorrow'.
Fingers crossed, eh?

I’m only predicting then as according to my Flo app, I started my period 14th and it’s predicting my ovulation on Sunday . Which means I’ll be fertile in a few days. So I’m holding off for one or two more days with the clear blue digital ovulation until then . I’ve been using Premom with the ovulation sticks but it confuses me

For ovulation pains does anyone know whether you should try on feeling them or does it mean you'll be fertile after them?

I think by the time you’re ovulating it’s very much a last chance situation so definitely try! But it might be a bit late. It depends how long the egg waits around for. Ideally sperm is already there.

Hmm not sure what to think there. It certainly feels like ovulation but I feel it is far too soon. I did have covid about two weeks ago so don't know if that would effect it...

It might’ve been! I know it can knock it out of whack, any sort of virus can.
