Weird bbt chart. Please help!!

I started charting in January, but I’m unsure when I ovulated due to the weird temperatures. I have highlighted the days where I had crappy sleep and tested at 4-5am instead of 6-6:30am, which may explain the lower temps. Please have a look from day 50. I wouldn’t pay attention to the cross section.

Ever since I came off the mini pill in October 2020 my cycle has been unpredictable ranging from 27 days to 56 days. I’m now on day 67 which is the longest it’s ever been!

I have always suffered from extremely heavy bleeding, fatigue and horrific pain during my periods (very debilitating). I suspect I have endo, but that doesn’t explain my irregular periods. It has been a stressful year, but the past 3 months have not been stressful so that doesn’t explain why I haven’t had a period.

Please can someone look at my chart and see where I ovulated? Thank you :)

Personally I can't see where you have ovulated.

There is a BBT converter if you happen to take your temp at a different time. Maybe you can try that and see if your chart changes.

Have you been doing OPKs?

I'd say CD 46
Do you take your temp at the same time daily ?
And do you do it in your mouth or vaginally ? (Sorry if tmi) - it's just vaginally is most accurate.

I’m not great at updating symptoms, sex etc but I do update the temps every morning. Some of the low temps (highlighted) were done at weird times due to weird sleep patterns. One of the high temps (7th Feb) was done at a later time. Almost all are done around the same time @coneonastick I might check that website out, thanks!

@FreckledMouse I take my temp using a digital thermometer under my tongue. I’m very new to charting! I haven’t done a pregnancy test.

I've seen a lot of people say that their tests are very up and down temping by mouth.
If you use ovulation tests alongside temping you can really pin point ovulation ♥️

Thank you @FreckledMouse @coneonastick my periods have been irregular the past year so I never know when to use OPK! When my period arrives, I’ll hopefully be better at charting. I think I either ovulated day 52 or 58 but I have no idea!

I have Oligomenorrhea so sometimes I skip a month😕

Do you have PCOS? My cycles are stupidly long (talking 100+ days) and I tended to do a cheap OPK every day (or more if it was showing it could be reaching a peak).

If you are on Reddit there is a really good sub called chart stalkers and they all seem to be experts in charting so might be worth popping a post in there?

@coneonastick GP says my vaginal scan and blood results have ruled out PCOS. The only PCOS symptom I have is irregular periods and skipping periods. My FSH and LH were taken on day 14 of this cycle. FSH was 8.9 and LH 3.4. I questioned about the large difference between the numbers, but GP wasn’t concerned. I feel that the FSH is too high for my age (25).

I just OPK everyday from end of period until Peak then a few days after 😊

Hmm it's a tricky chart to interpret tbh - for your next cycle I'd really recommend using fertility friend instead.

I agree that your FSH is high - could you get your amh tested privately to give a full picture of your ovarian reserve?

I decided to alter some of the early morning temps (using the website above) to align with my usual time 6-6:30am. I know it won’t be accurate, but maybe it makes my chart more easier to interpret? Ewcm day 52, watery cm day 61, creamy white day 66. It’s so confusing. @Juno231 the Gp hasn’t tested my amh. I am worried.

By altering your chart it looks like ovulation could have been around day 46. Do a pregnancy test and see what it says

@coneonastick I thought maybe day 51 due to the ewcm on day 52 but who knows haha.
