Did anyone else ovulate on or around Valentine's Day? i could do with some moral support this month as I'm feeling a little down about TTC. Anyone want to do the TWW together? 🤞🏻✨

Hi all! I ovulated on Valentine's Day, started cramping and feeling off on Friday and got my first very faint hint of a BFP on Sunday.
This morning (AF due date) I've had a BFP on first response and 1-2 weeks pregnant on digital. It's been a horrible few days of limbo. My husband is working away at the moment and won't be back until Friday. I think I'll wait until he's home to tell him.
I'm rubbish at keeping secrets haha.

Ironically a couple of weeks ago my dd who is 3 asked for the first time if she could have a baby sister! X

Got my coil out 1st feb and not had AF yet so took a test not sure when i ovulated either but thinking im out for this month.. thought i seen some sort of shadow but ya know when you just see things because you want it to be true 😂

Well, hubby came home this morning and I told him. Fast forward to now and I'm bleeding badly and cramping. No happy ending this time I'm afraid 😔

@TTCBABYNO2xx It's pretty rubbish. As if the waiting BEFORE AF wasn't enough, now this 🤷‍♀️

@beanchopper17 i lost it unfortunately. Got my positive digital then last weds started bleeding. I'm trying to look at the positives though. We can actually get pregnant, As it was early we can start trying again straight away, and i'm just looking at it like a practice run and my bodies way of having a good clear out before we get our sticky baby. Hope everyone else is doing okay xx

@MrsT8509 I am so sorry to hear that, it's such heart breaking experience. Take some time to pamper yourself, go through the emotions and there is a positive to come out of this horribleness, you are most fertile for 3-6months after a loss. I know it's double edge sword, but if you decide to try again straight away it increases your chances 🤞🏻

@beanchopper17 we're planning on trying again straight away. I think it's my way of dealing with it, knowing we can. Just keeping my fingers crossed it happens as quick as the first one did 🤞🏻

On cycle day 23 and no sign of my peak, I am wondering if my cycles are slipping back to being long again 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hi @beanchopper17. I'm not really sure what's going on with me. I had a peak on my OPK's, but they have been pretty high all month, like wuite dark, and had hardly any CM so not a bloody clue 🤷🏻‍♀️ Carried on dtd though so just a waiting game. Boobs are achy again, and i'm really really tired all the time, but deffo no early testing again this month.

How long did you cycles used to be? All this ttc is more effort than our actual jobs!! Xx

@MrsT8509 out of curiosity -

1. Did you test negative after your loss (sorry for the blunt question)
2. What cycle day are you on?
3. What's your normal cycle length?

Well this is going to be confusing, so before I started taking many supplements my cycles are extremely irregular, anywhere between 40-110 days.

The past 6-7 cycles have been between 30-40 days

It's been great, have more chances to ttc, but if they are slipping back to irregular ness I have no idea how to reduce them again 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ttc is a minefield! And all the knowledge really can take the fun out of it! I try to hide all the details from my husband so it's still fun for him but after over 10years I think the stress seeps from every pore 😂

@beanchopper17 yea, i got a negative 3 days into the bleeding. Cycle day 21 and 8dpo, or so i believe, as that's what the opk's said, but with the lack of CM i'm doubting i even ovulated!!

So have you managed to get your cycles down so much with supplements? I've started taking vit B6 since i started bleeding as it's meant to help with progesterone and implanting apparently. I'll give anything a go! Already take folic acid and vit D. Xx

@MrsT8509 very interesting the strong opks, the first cycle after a loss can be a little out of whack, fingers crossed for you that you did have your peak and your period stays away 🤞🏻

Yeah I have done a lot of research into pcos and supplements to help with irregular cycles, balancing hormones and improving insulin resistance. I take the following (yes it is long and expensive 😂) also I want to add if anyone else sees this, I am not medically trained so not recommending these (don't want to get into trouble) -

Prescribed-
Metaformin
Lethorthoxrine (can't spell it)
Folic acid

Supplements-
Instosol (the combined version)
Vit C
Vit D
B12 complex
Liquorice root
Turmeric
Nac
Berberine
Magnesium and zinc
Saw palmetto (this it meant to help with hair loss)
Biotin (also for hair loss)
Omega fish oil

And I think that's it 😂 there are a couple of others I am researching that are meant to improve egg quality but I haven't committed to trying yet

@beanchopper17 wowzers! That is an impressive list! You'll have to let me know your findings on egg quality ones. Also, does your husband take anything? I'm debating whether or not to get mine on some vitamins but he's of the mind that we can get pregnant, so what's the point. I just want to give our eggs and sperm the best chance of a good and successful first date!

@MrsT8509 because of all our problems my husband did have his sperm tested and it came back perfect results (which made me feel like poop cause of course the problem is me) so we never felt the need for him to take anything. Someone has suggested a book called it started with the egg, so I am going to get a copy and see what advice that has as well

So I have finally peaked! I had days of strong lines but not quite there and today boom!

God knows what's going on with me. Had a peak last friday, and another peak today 🤷🏻‍♀️ so we've dtd at when i originally should have ovulated, last friday, and today, somi've covered all basis, just leaves me hanging really as to when i actual ovulated and when i can expect AF. Hey ho, what will be will be and i'm sure next cycle everything will have righted it's self after the chemical. Xx

@MrsT8509 have you done a pregnancy test recently?

Maybe this cycle your hormones are still all over once af arrives will get them back in line 🤞🏻

@beanchopper17 i have. Yesterday and today and there was a very very fsint line, but i think they were indents. It was an FRER.

@MrsT8509 I see what you mean. I see so many people complain about frers and the indents. If your first peak was last week then af should turn up over the next week. Maybe if it doesn't test again then?

I understand the hesitance to not get your hopes up, but I will keep my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

@beanchopper17 it's shocking really that they have that fault. A lot have lines before you even do the test. If i didn't know about the issues with them it could have been heartbreaking again when af turned up. I do have a clearblue., but i'll wait to see is af shows first xx
