When to test... or should I wait?!

Morning!
Currently day 19 of a 21-25 day cycle. Ovulation was roughly on day 11. I've been getting cramping since day 13 and has varied on terms of pain from dull ache to sharp stabbing pains. Would it be too early to test or should I just hold out a few more days to see if AF arrives? It's only my first cycle trying.
Thanks.

So, you're at 8DPO, if I counted correctly, which generally is very early to test, but I'm not sure what happens with a shorter cycle like yours. I would wait until 12 DPO to test (actually I wouldn't, I would be so curious I would test all day every day, but you know what I mean, lol!)

Generally what everyone says is that it's better to test on the day of the expected period but, let's be honest, not many of us can wait that long.

By the way, why don't you join the thread "obsessive testers welcome" ? The girls are very happy translating pregnancy tests and giving advice... Plus, we keep each other company during the TWW. 😊

Thanks @MiaKay for your reply I'll get some tests when my DD is out of covid isolation if I haven't come on by then. I'll have a look at the thread you mentioned.
