Line progression - 6 weeks

Wondering if anyone else has been in this position. I should be 6w pregnant but still showing as a 2-3 on clear lie as of yesterday (posted about this separately)

I couldn’t resist but do a normal test today. It was done this evening but I feel the line is surely too light for 6 weeks? Shouldn’t it be as strong as the control line by this point 😞 got a horrible feeling this pregnancy is going wrong.

Have been having some cramping although no bleeding x

I did a test at 6weeks with fmu and it was like this. Did another one 2hrs later and it was much darker... so I don't think at this stage the line is a good indicator/ or bad.

Clearblue week thing is notorious for being bad especially when it comes ot 3+.

Could you get an early scan? It is the only way at this gestation to know

Testing isn't a reliable way of monitoring your HCG levels at this point, there's lots and lots of factors that can have an effect on lines, plus after a certain point your body has more HCG than a test can accurately measure.

Plus, this looks like a great line!
And most importantly, a positive!

I've suffered losses, and I'm 6 weeks pregnant myself, so I know exactly how you're feeling and I am absolutely not judging you for testing!
But I do think it's time to put them down ❤️
If you get really, really worried, ask your GP to take some blood ❤️

Tests are not great in terms of not being as strong as the control line and I’m only 6w since LMP would there even be anything to see ? :(

I’ve pretty much convinced myself this is bad news to be honest. I just feel like I am waiting for the bleeding to start xx

@daisiesyellow I think this is my issue. It’s Having a previous loss and no faith in myself or my body to actually go through with a pregnancy. And the odd cramping is making me feel even more nervous.

I really wish I could relax and enjoy this until I’m proved otherwise but I just feel so convinced it is going to end badly. Feel guilty for

I also had a MC and that's why i randomly test sometimes. I totally get the feeling that it will be bad news but would you rather not know anyway?
You are more likely to get a good outcome than not. Especially with no bleeding or anything...
I think you should look into a scan to put your mind at ease and move forward.

My digital with DD took ages to go 3+ weeks, she's 8 months now so it was definitely the tests being wrong not her. I wish I'd saved money for baby things rather than the 34673 tests I did. I do understand the anxiety around them though.

@SLW2022 It's taken a lot for me to relax, my car door has tissues in it from where I've wiped myself when driving at the slightest feeling of anything that could be blood 😬😂
So I'm no angel myself when it comes to being anxious!

But testing will only add to that stress as you'll just overthink everything and compare lines and it'll drive you potty!

Book a blood test if you have to, or even an early scan!
We're at the same stages of pregnancy so I'll be here too ❤️
It's easier said than done but I really do hope you get some relief soon ❤️

@SunnySideUp2020 I do have one booked for a week Sunday when I should be 7w as I was told there isn’t much to see or confirm by that point

@PutOnAHappyFace I have seen a few people see they took a while to rise. I just feel panicked about that and think surely I’d have seen a 3+ by now at 3 weeks :(

@daisiesyellow I’m exactly the same - not the tissues in the car but constantly when going to the toilet .. or wake up in the night in a panic and check instantly. I keep dreaming of bleeding etc it is so tormenting :( wish I could be normal! Thank you so much. I really hope it’s a good outcome. I settle sometimes and think “it is what it is” but then I get a pain in my side or a niggle and think ah here we go. I’m a generally very anxious person in general anyway xx

@daisiesyellow not had a good day. Had a bit of cramping on and off. No bleeding and the only real symptom I did have was sore boobs which seem to have gone overnight 😞. Hope you’re ok xxx

@SLW2022 Oh no 😣 Your friend sounds very tactless and obviously clueless! As long as you know that it's out of any of our control and we need to trust our bodies!

I am okay, I've slept most of the day, but it's a Sunday so I feel like I'm allowed to have a lazy day today 😂
Every morning I wake up and I'm still pregnant and I look in the mirror and I say "I can and I am", it helps me ❤️
Hope tomorrow is a much better day for you! ❤️

@daisiesyellow i know. As much as I hate my body atm I do understand it is out or our control. I have done all I can in terms of vitamins no caffeine no foods that should be avoided etc. thank you ✨❤️

Hi, just wanted to reassure you that at this point in my pregnancy the only symptom I had had was sore boobs and then they disappeared and I was a nervous wreck. I also had cramps which got really painful around 7 weeks and a scan found it was ab ovarian cyst. The pain was bad for a few weeks but cleared up. I was so nervous throughout after a previous loss conceived through ivf. My miracle baby was fine and is here with me now. Wishing you all the best.

@Fleabag84 thank you for your message ❤️ That is definitely reassuring! I wish I didn’t do the test last night too as seeing that not be as strong as the control got me even more wound up and then the lack of symptoms really made my mind run wild!

Do you have PCOS? Or can people get cysts without that in pregnancy too?

Hi, so sorry I've just seen this now. I don't have PCOS but I do have endometriosis so not sure if that caused the cyst or it was just natural. How are you doing? Really hoping all is well for you

@PutOnAHappyFace do you remember which week you were in when your CB Digital progressed at all?

I was probably just under 6 weeks when I got 3+. How sure are you of your dates? 1-2 at 7 weeks would suggest something is wrong sorry.

I am very sure as it is IVF so no way my dates are wrong. I thought so, thanks

@Ttc1367 I don't want to give you false hope at all because I just don't think that's fair. Obviously hormones are weaker if you have drank lots before test etc but you would expect further than 1-2 at that stage.
