Cycle gone weird

My cycle is always spot on 28-29 days.However once got to 34 days.I'm currently late and I have been testing but all negative.I have only used cheap 1 pound tests and clear blue dye test.What have possibly gone wrong.Fed up

Probably late or absent ovulation. Do you track signs of ovulation, eg cervical mucus, body temp?

No just when my period starts.

This has happened to me before if i was sick around the time of ovulation. I think it gets delayed.

So frustrating when this happens. I'm usually around 28/29ays too(give or take a day or 2) longest cycle I'd had was 31, a couple of months ths ago it was 33! I'm currently on cycle day 31 so going to wait untill cd34 (if it gets that long) then will test. I have a suspicion I did not ovulate this month though.
