Positive ovulation test 3 days before period?

Hey ladies!

I took this ovulation test today and it was positive.. but my period is to start in 3 days? Ive never had this happen before and wanted to know what it means..

my last pregnancy I did not get my bop till a week after my missed period, so I was wondering if the opk can detect early pregnancy before the wondfro hcg test? have not tried frer yet since I get payed tomorrow!

What do you think this means.. please help!

I think they can detect both pregnancy and ovulation. Sone people ovulate twice too. Good luck!

On a molecular level LH and hcg are very similar and ovulation tests can't tell the difference which is why you can get a positive OPK and actually be pregnant (doesn't work the other way round as pregnancy tests can tell the difference). So it is possible you could be pregnant but you can also get a rise in LH just before your period

Thank you ladies !! My frer was negative but all the wondfo of early morning today show the same thing.. a faint positive.. is that normal for frer to not show yet?
