So I had positive OPKs 15/16 days ago. I've been testing since 9dpo with a mixture of pink line strip test and clear blue / own brand blue line test. All Brand, but the blue line tests have all developed faint evap lines. These have appeared outside the window where the tests are valid but I've done a lot of pregnancy tests and dug a lot out of bins in desperation, and never seen evap lines before so to have so many is a bit weird. I got my DH to wee on one this morning to check it's not just something they all do and sure enough there's nothing on his.
I've also been having tiny amounts of brown spotting for the last 3 days, but my period hasn't shown up. Usually I have quite a short luteal phase and get it around 10-12 dpo.
Now I'm under no illusions that I'm actually pregnant (at least in any meaningful/viable way) as I know what a positive test would look like by this point, but what is going on here? Could it be a chemical? Or are evap lines just completely meaningless and my period is just playing silly buggers this month?
