Strong positive test during period

I tested one day before my period was due and got a faint positive line, the next day another faint positive but my period arrived as normal on the expected day. Now on day 4 of period (light bleeding now as normal) and I tested and the line is much darker!

I thought it was a chemical pregnancy but the line has got a lot darker in 3 days, I'm not sure what is happening!

It might not be a period, you can shed blood as the egg settling into the lining. Try Googling this, it will explain it better than me 😂

I would keep testing and contact your gp, they may suggest blood test to confirm HCG levels (not every gp does this early on). You could also test every other day to see if it fades/strengthens until the gp is willing to help. Some clear blue digital can tell you how many weeks you are.

We have been trying to get pregnant for 6 months now and I am starting to lose hope.
My period is usually VERY consistent and regular.
I was late for 2 days this cycle. On 13 days DPO (The day AF was supposed to arrive) I had another BFN. I am now 15 days DPO and started bleeding this morning. The bleeding is very light. Started pinkish and is now a rusty brown colour. Could this be implantation or is it unlikely?

I've now got a digital test saying 'pregnant 1-2 weeks'!!

Have been trying to get in touch with the doctors. Praying this is real and not just a chemical. But if it was chemical then surely I wouldn't test positive on a digital now that I have almost finished bleeding when I tested negative on a digital the morning before I started bleeding!

@roh93 sounds more like settling bleeding, if they are strong lines and got digital confirmation. Fingers crossed you get 100% from the gp soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻 (also if you don't get gp help yet, do the digital again in a week or 2 and see if it goes up in weeks🤞🏻)

@aspiringmom if you tested negative it's very unlikely implantation bleeding, sadly I think that's your af at 15dpo

For anyone going through a similar thing, I had these same symptoms, faint positive test followed by 'period' then strong positives and digital positives for the next week 1/2 and then more bleeding ended up with an early miscarriage / chemical pregnancy yesterday at 5 weeks 2 days

This is also a sign of ectopic pregnancy, please speak to your gp xx
