Opk tests messing with me! Help

Hi,
So I’ve been using clear blue digital opks with the smileys and I’ve been having months with 9 days plus flashing smileys and then no solid. This month it was the same but I had lots of ovulation cramping etc and thought maybe I just missed it.
I’m now 5 days before period and have got ewcm and decided to just test on an Amazon opk and it’s super dark!
Just need some help and maybe similar stories as I’m loosing my mind a bit!
Have booked in for a drs appointment this week

Just now had a solid smiley on day 26 of my cycle 😭. Really worrying about if this will really make it hard to conceive

Hi sorry I’m rubbish with these tests too!
I used clear blue for over a year. Some months it would flash smileys for 10 days and then nothing. One month it was solid smiley for 5 (I just kept testing out of curiosity)
I phoned my gp as I had previously had irregular cycles and was getting myself muddled up and upsetting myself. My gp was lovely but said she couldn’t refer me for tests until after the 1 year mark. She kept saying statistically most women fall pregnant in their second year of trying. Since having covid vaccines and being encouraged originally to wait a couple of months between each dose - the gp had to wait longer to send me for tests.
I found somewhere that I could get myself and my husband tests privately.
One thing my gp did suggest was to ditch the ovulation kits and try just go with how I feel and I must say it helped and worked for me!
Sounds stupid but I just listened to my body, found nights that I was very hot as times I was ovulating. After 2 months of ditching the tests I was pregnant.
