Sharpe twinge anything to do with ovulation?

So last night I had this sudden sharp twinge in my left side which went after a short while and then this morning when I woke up I've had abit of cervical mucus I noticed when wiping which appeared clear and stretchy.

Have I already ovulated? Due to ovulate? Pre Mom says my predicted date is tomorrow, however I don't know whether to trust it.

I've done an OPK with second wee of the day this morning and it's giving a low reading 🤔

Absolutely could be

When I get pains it's definitely ovulation as my CM goes creamy in the next day or so and I get my AF exactly 14 days after them. I don't use testing sticks for O though as they've never worked for me in the past.

@TheBirdintheCave Thank you, it's not pain I've experienced this cycle it was the really noticeable sharpe twinge that I had last night and only at my left side which make me think what on earth it that!

My period is due 3rd March.

I don't know whether to just stop opk testing, keep DTD and just wait and see if this is my lucky month or continue testing for a few more days 😬

My advice, stop focusing on ov sticks. Just dtd every other day after period and before next month's is due to start to capture all possibilities. People put too much faith in these little test strips. Doing the deed regularly is your best chance, focus on that, make it fun & throw the strips away xxx
