yet Im so scared at the same time to take the plunge.

I know I am going to TTC because Im stopping my contraception ... but somehow Im really scared.

Scared to go from 2 to 3, even though I really want to.

Ive started sniffing and getting weepy when i go past baby things in shops so its a sure sign Im going to go for it (I was the same with my other two)

But does anyone else feel this apprehention along with excitement??

yeah I would love another one but I am scared of how it would affect the way the house runs just now, how the kids live their lives etc. I always say I want another one but then something stops me from actually going for it.

Sorry if I sound a bit erratic, Im just a bit all over the place

Thants what I mean, If i didnt have the other 2 then i wouldnt worry, but I worry for them .. them being left out, the difficulties in goingplacs with 3 ect

broodychicky - I'm 13 weeks pregnant with number 3 and swing between excitement and OMG what have we done? But I know once I meet my new baby it will be like he or she has always been here and a part of the family.

I was so broody after DD2 was born I knew I wanted another one, it's as if theres someone missing from around the dinner table at night. Go for it you know you want to

Hi Broodychick....I am feeling the same about ttc - tho for me it will be DC1. I have been so shocked at how powerful the maternal feelings are. I thought it would fade away, but it just seems to get stronger every day.
I am one of three children and FWIW, it is really fab being one of three even if today's society is designed for 2.4 children. I'd say if it feels right, go for it.
That prob doesn't help you much but I just wanted you to know you aren't alone in feeling broody as hell.

Good to know Im not by myself.

I think ypou made a good point when you said that once they are here its like they always have been.

I think I just need to go for it

Hi broody chick just wanted to say i feel the same... i will have an age gap of 7yrs plus between my youngest and (hopefully) a new baby.. but didn't you feel this way about going from one to two i sure did but when she came it was like she was always here so i'm guessing it will be the same going from 2 to 3 but better as this baby is really longed for..(not saying other 2 wern't just they were unexpected...

Ps..i can totally relate to the trawling through baby sites..i have already got my maternity wardrobe picked out as well as pram/cot and hospital bag...lol desperate i know..but just cant help myself..
