Hope somebody can help with an answer please 🙏
I have quite long cycles(30-45 days) so I never know when to test. Had my period on the 9th of January.
I was testing last week from Monday started getting very light positives which turned a lot darker and clearly positives by Friday. Then tested yesterday and today just to find all tests negative.
I definitely had positive tests last week as I know just too well what all the indents etc looks like, we have been on ttc journey for over 4 years now Sad

Tmi (cervix is very soft)
Is there any chance I could still be pregnant?
No sign of bleeding of af.

Can get appointment with gp and blood test only Friday

Did you use different tests yesterday and today than you did when you got your positives?

Yahooo · 14/02/2022 20:26

All one step amazon tests. Done extra frer yesterday to confirm then got negative, then tried again one step and all negative since yesterday

From my own experience the FRER tests are pretty accurate and I would trust them over the one step. The only other thing I can think of is maybe did you use FMU for the positives but not for the negatives?

Yahooo · 14/02/2022 20:36

I used fmu for frer this morning, clearly negative. Was positive last week through the day morning and evening.

All I can think of is I might be having chemical
💔

It could be, so sorry if it is lovely, hopefully bloods can shed more light on it for you, have you tested since?

Yahooo · 15/02/2022 16:37

KSAM thank you so much for your support, I just tested today after work, very light 2nd line, will do again tomorrow morning. Just a little hope there

Ah you're so welcome, TTC is such a roller-coaster we all need a bit of support ❤️ that's such good news, keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Thank you so much, we are ttc over 4 years now, I have mild pcos but other than that we are healthy so I have no clue why is it taking so long, it feels like I wana cry every time I find out one of my friends/colleagues pregnant again or even seeing young baby's make me wonder what I have done not to deserve one

My heart goes out to you, 4 years - I can't imagine how hard that must be. We're into the 9th month of TTC and it's already getting to me. Have you seen your GP and been referred for tests etc? You absolutely do deserve a baby, you should never think you're not deserving lovely

Yahooo · 15/02/2022 23:20

You are so lovely KSAM, I went to see my gp about it last year that's when I found out I have pcos. Went to private gynecologist, have paid over 600e for 3 appointments, was told my pcos is very mild and shudnt be a problem, she prescribed me metformin iv been taking since November. Last appointment was in January where she prescribed me clomid, but still no period so can't start it yet.
I live in Ireland, each appointment with gp cost me 60e, every time they take bloods its extra 25e, got referrals to free gynecologist but on waiting list over a year no, they make it so hard for people here.

Oh wow, I think here we really take for granted the NHS and to be honest I just forget that other places have to pay, 600 for 3 apps 😬 I just couldn't afford to shell out all the time for medical apps and treatments etc. I've got an app with my GP on Friday, I've got an underactive thyroid so wanting to see whether that's affecting my Fertility so we shall see. Those tests look very positive to me, I really really hope this is it for you how amazing! Are you going to your GP to have your bloods done to confirm? Everything crossed for you, completely understand you not wanting to get too excited. Those tests definately look positive 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Yahooo · 16/02/2022 20:19

Your so lucky with NHS, HSE here is not doing anything for working class people.
Actually paid other 100e just for a blood test to check ovarian reserves. Everywhere u go u must pay fortune in Ireland, I guess that was the main reason why I have left it as long as I did.

Get them to check all your bloods and hormons as that could be the thing that affects your ability to get pregnant. My friend has underactive thyroid and she has 3 lovely DC.
It's still early days for you and try not to stress too much, u may get pregnant quite soon. :)
Fingers crossed and il keep you updated, will try to book in bloods done on Friday.

@Yahooo how are you doing? have you tested since Wednesday's tests - they look positive to me?

Yahooo · 18/02/2022 22:15

@ElleBelleLou yes I did yesterday and today, can only barely see the line so I have no idea what's going on, gynaecologist appointment Monday so il get the scan and all done and will know for sure what the story is, as I'm very confused. Surely if that was early mc or cp I would have had my period by now as its 2 weeks testing, sometimes stronger line, sometimes barely seen, sometimes no line at all Confused
Had my last period on the 9th of January

Sad started my period today 😢
How is it possible to have positive tests for 2 weeks and then start period. I hate it and it seems like I will never be able to get pregnant.
