OPK's and Pregnancy?

Ladies, can ovulation tests detect early pregnancy or not?

I’m 12 dpo and my ovulation test is positive (I’ve also had a positive pregnancy test)

Opk's can get strong/peak for 3 reasons

  • ovulation
  • pregnancy (this is not guaranteed for everyone and is not reliable in place of a pregnancy test)
  • period coming (again not everyone gets this, also doesn't happen every period, but some ladies can get strong lines before their period comes, it's happened to myself a couple of times. It didn't peak just quite strong)

I'm on CD11 today of a new cycle. However I'm still occasionally on and off feeling sick 😷

This is my OPK from this morning.

I haven't got any pregnancy tests in to do one.
