Hi, I'm 38 and TTC#3, my youngest is nearly 10 so it's been a while! Been on the pill most of my adult life.
This was our 2nd cycle since coming off the pill and the first of properly trying.
I had positive opks and ov pain around CD13 and then period has arrived today 11DPO and CD24.
Could that be classed as a short luteal phase? Are there any supplements anyone would recommend? Was thinking of ubiquitol/q10 to help egg development and then vit c to help with uterine lining? Any thoughts?
I'm already taking folic acid and vit d and have reduced caffeine and alcohol significantly.
Know we've not been trying long but its obviously too early for a doc appt and feel like we are on a bit of a clock so wondering if anyone had any experience/knowledge to share?
Thanks

Also, has anyone found acupuncture or reflexology beneficial and is one better than the other? Thinking even just for de-stressing and some 'me' time it could be good,

I’ve just started COQ10 this cycle so too early to see if it makes a difference. I don’t think 11 days counts as short though, I think anything less than 10 is short and even then it doesn’t mean you can’t conceive. Also I get it may still vary a bit per cycle as you’ve only just come off the pill?

Not personal experience but one of my best friends swore by acupuncture!

Thank you @Charl881 will get some cq10 I think and yes I know you're right about things settling down after pill, know I need to calm down! Just really want it to happen quickly this time so we are not any older than we already are!

Hi @Pheepa I've started Ubiquinol this month which is the better form of CoQ10, apparently it gets absorbed by the body more easily. Too soon to know if it's made a difference yet.

I've also started acupuncture which I've heard can be helpful. I've only had 3 sessions but my ovulation was brought forwards a few days and I noticed some EWCM, I don't usually get any, so I think it has done something. Going to carry on for a few months and see if we have any luck x

Thanks @Bellesjp, good luck!

I'm ttc in a few months I'm taking vitamin d, cq10, vitamin c, evening and starflower oil 2 weeks after my period and occasionally zinc, magnesium and selenium! Oh and I did I forget the most important one - folic acid!
