When did you bleed after chemical?

I got a bfp on Monday, 12 days after ovulation, decent line, visible straight away. At the same time I had some very light spotting, only when wiping, during the day. Since then the tests got fainter, line on frer still very much there but in no way stronger, with a cheapie this morning very faint. I guess it’s chemical pregnancy. Will I get my period before the next cycle comes in? I definitely have strong cramps, back pain, so I guess it’s coming?

Any advice is much appreciate, TIA!

I'm so sorry to hear! Yes, uf it happens to be a chemical, you will bleed eventually. It's normally comparable to your AF (depending on your AF of course, but for me it wasn't much different, just much stronger on day 1 instead of day 2). That would be your cycle day 1.

This happened to me too 🥲 had BFP on 8dpo (faint) and never really got more than a v faint line and then AF came as normal

Thanks for the reply both! My period was due yesterday so I guess any day now… so unfair as i both feel nauseous and crampy! So sorry you had to go though this too!

Sending you a 🤗 and hope everything works out. I have TTC again this month and I am scared the same thing is going to happen...don't dare do a test!! Aaagh

Bundaberg84 · 10/02/2022 08:31

I still hope it won't happen to you @GinMama400.
It was exactly a year ago when it happened to me. I only did one test, not multiple so I wouldn't know how faint my tests became before my bleeding started. For me, it was 3 days after AF was due when it started.

I've decided I'm not gonna test until the baby is practically on its way out.
It's so frustrating and upsetting, miscarriages, chemicals, ugh!

GinMama400 · 10/02/2022 19:45

It looks like it’s over for me this time. Thanks for your support everyone!

@lovelylittlesunflower if only I has so much self restraint 😂. I thought it was safe, one day before period. Maybe better I wait till like a week late next time 🙈
