Try Googling: Sperm Meets Egg - lots of couples swear by it. I’m in the same position as you, also with a 26 day cycle and still hoping the baby dust will come this way. Star we’ve been using ovulation kits and tracking, and both taking loads of supplements Grin hmmm other than that, just lots and lots of BD from day 8-16 of cycle.

Sending you baby dust! Daffodil

@Lj268 have you tried using clearblue digital ovulation sticks? Xx

RLou3 · 10/02/2022 18:59

I had a 26 day cycle and conceived really quickly but was using clearblue ovulation sticks - now trying for number 2 and was breastfeeding exclusively which has messed my cycle up drastically 😩😩😩

I used to have a 26 day cycle prior to having my son (it is now 24 days). It took 7 months to get pregnant with my son. Currently trying to conceive baby no2 and on cycle no 9. Agree with the above about looking at smep and using ovulation sticks as if you went by dates alone I would ovulate day 10 but I actually ovulate on day 13 usually. This month I’ve had no peak yet so not sure what is going on there it they are helpful to try and narrow the window down.

@RLou3 thanks for this link. I’ve just ordered all 3. As an older lady TTC number 2 I’m happy to try anything!!!

RLou3 · 10/02/2022 19:39

@TiredbutTrying41 no problem! I've honestly heard AMazing things about these tablets and obviously can't be sure that's what worked for me but have heard so much about people trying for years and then taking these and falling - fingers crossed for you xx

My natural cycles used to be 25 days so it looked like I ovulated 3 days before what the "clue" app said Wink

A way to check this is to get a pack of really cheap ovulation sticks from like Amazon and test every day

10 months, until I had to travel exactly on my supposed ovulation window Grin
CocoCookieCream · 10/02/2022 19:52

Tbf its only been 4 months. Give it a big longer.

In future, perhaps consider making him wear a condom instead of taking body altering pharmaceuticals. Me and my husband used protection for the first 3 years until we wanted kids, because we knew it was the smart choice. And got pregnant on 1st go.

Kgutdfn · 10/02/2022 19:53

I swear by the Clear blue Purple (not the pink one) ovulation sticks. They are very very accurate.

ButFirstTea · 10/02/2022 20:49

Are you tracking ovulation? Cycle length isn't as important as what day you ovulate and how long your luteal phase is. A 26 day cycle is well within the normal range and wouldn't have any impact on your likelihood to become pregnant on its own.

I'd recommend ovulation testing strips and measuring your BBT every morning to be sure of your ovulation date and so you can time when you have sex. Good luck!
