Ovulation test chat, 29/30 day cycles anyone?

Are there any ladies on here that have used or are using the easy at home ovulation tests? Started using them today!

I have very regular periods with a 29 day cycle and currently very keen to know when my results will go from low to high/peak 😬😬😬 they're currently low at the moment, CD7.

Who has a similar cycle length? What CD did you get your peak test result?

@allthingssparkly I'm also a 30 day cycle girl. Sometimes 29. I don't use easy at home, but use CB advance and femometer OPKs which both give me peaks around CD16. Good luck!

allthingssparkly · 09/02/2022 16:06

@Tinkerbell098 Thank you, how soon do you start testing once your period has finished? Hoping this is the cycle 🤞

I started around CD10 when I was new to OPK testing. Now I don't bother until CD14 as my cycles seem regular and having done the tests for a while, I know roughly when to expect the peak. I know some people do two a day closer to the expected peak (one in the morning and one early afternoon), but I don't as my peak seems to last a good few hours so I've never missed it by doing just in the morning with FMU.

allthingssparkly · 09/02/2022 16:28

Ah okay, thank you that's helpful 🙂 I have started testing today once a day (new to testing) I don't know if I'm testing too early 🙈 I just haven't tested in the past so don't know exactly when I'm ovulating so wanted to start sooner rather than later x

@allthingssparkly you can also tell as it'll start getting darker, but not as dark as the control line, a day or so before you get the peak. The rest of the time it'll stay very light. Although of course, everyone's different. It's a good idea to start testing early as you are new to it and don't want to miss the peak. Good luck!

allthingssparkly · 09/02/2022 16:40

@Tinkerbell098 Thank you, yeah today's test is light and I've inputted it into the Pre Mom app on my phone and it's showing as a "low" reading which makes sense.

I will test once a day and see how things go 🤞🤞

Thank you x

Hello!
This is my first month using the easy @ home, last month I was just using green strip cheap ones from eBay.
The last 2 months I was a 30 day cycle I got covid a few weeks ago which has messed up this cycle but hopefully back to normal next month so I can join you
M sending baby dust xx

allthingssparkly · 09/02/2022 17:16

@RMS0209 Good luck to you 🤞 and thank you, really hoping this is the month for me ⭐

I use easy@home opk...30 day cycle on average. I get a positive around day 13/14 but I tend to ovulate about 2 days after positive opk

allthingssparkly · 09/02/2022 17:47

@CherylPorter350 Thank you 😊 Hopefully I get my positive soon 🤞

@CherylPorter350 just a question - how did you find out that you ovulate 2 days after peak? Is it through BBT?

Nyxxie · 10/02/2022 15:36

Following as I'm about to start using these!

RMS0209 · 11/02/2022 21:32

@allthingssparkly how are you getting on? X

allthingssparkly · 11/02/2022 22:04

@RMS0209 Okay, thank you 😊 patiently waiting for my peak 🤭

Looking good!
One of the ladies told me on here to do a 4hr hold before using, seems to have done the trick for me x

allthingssparkly · 12/02/2022 08:15

@RMS0209 This is my test from this morning, CD10 😬😬😬

@allthingssparkly definitely getting darker! are you using clear blue or anything too or just these? X

allthingssparkly · 12/02/2022 08:20

@RMS0209 Just using these and really hoping they help, as in previous cycles I haven't know when exactly in my cycle I've ovulated as I never tracked.

Are you using these easy at home OPK's too?

OP posts:
RMS0209 · 12/02/2022 08:25

@allthingssparkly that's cool, yeah I use these & I use the clear blue purple ovulation test.
I got my peak yesterday CD18 (nominally Cd14 but I caught covid so knocked everything off!) I haven't tested this morning yet but I can send my tests in once I do Smile

RMS0209 · 12/02/2022 08:26

@allthingssparkly also by the way.. I was told on here that pre mom won't make your "peak" until the day after when it notices the tests being lighter, so just a heads up x

RMS0209 · 12/02/2022 08:30

Sorry, I need to learn to paragraph! See attached.

allthingssparkly · 12/02/2022 08:38

@RMS0209 Ahh thank you 😊 I suppose I can get my high reading at anytime over the next few days then, I'm really hoping I don't miss it but don't want to become obsessive with testing 🙈

OP posts:
RMS0209 · 13/02/2022 16:47

@allthingssparkly no problem, sending you lots of luck this cycle x

allthingssparkly · 13/02/2022 17:27

Thanks so much @RMS0209 the tests I've done today look darker but obviously not dark enough for my peak 🙈 I'm so impatient 🤣

OP posts:
allthingssparkly · 13/02/2022 17:28

Mine so far, may test again tonight x
