Hello ladies!

I’ve been reading these threads (at all hours clearly!) I just wondered if anyone was currently in their 2WW and wanted to join me? It’s so long!! I’m ttc number 2, have a 4 year old son, fell first time with him luckily so certainly not expecting the same this time round. This is our first cycle. I’m only using an app not any ovulation sticks so not sure how many days po I am, but According to app fertile window ended yesterday. AF due 21st I only have 24/25 day cycles since coming off my pill.

Anywhoo no symptoms yet as too early! I’ve had ovulation cramps and a few nights of very intense dreams. I think the only symptoms I can remember pre bfp with my son was really really sore boobs, couldn’t bare a bra on!! And really tired.

Please people join me to symptom spot and keep each other company during the 2WW.

@ANP2020 absolutely! Symptom spotting is addictive! Again woken up worn sore nipples and very very very mild twinges.

but of course BFN today at 8DPO! I was going to test on FRER in the morning but it’s my birthday and I’m half tempted to just wait till 10/11 DPO as I think it would be quite rare to get BFP at 9DPO!

Hjudge56 · 23/05/2022 09:14

@Shaker21 yes 8DPO today! I know I’m so silly for testing haha definitely a POAS addict!

I did test again this morning and BFN! Im
usually 25-26 day cycles but I had a chemical last month and so this month I ovulated 4 days later (on CD15) than usual. So I’m guessing it will be a 29 day cycle as Luteal Phase has always been bang on 14 days but again it could be different (more or less days) because the chemical has changed my cycle for this month!

but I’m CD23 today! So would FRER pick up HCG in a couple days time at CD25?

Hjudge56 · 23/05/2022 09:15

Also how are you @Shaker21 ??

Shaker21 · 23/05/2022 09:22

@Hjudge56 Yeah I definitely would be the same with not wanting to test tomorrow if it was my birthday and to hold off until 10/11DPO. I would say a FRER should pick up on CD25 if you was to be due AF on CD29. They say 6 days before AF they can I think. Sore nipples sounds like a good sign though. Do you normally get much like that on other months?

I am doing good thanks, I had a private pelvic fertility scan yesterday to just have a check and put my mind at rest to try and relax a bit more and the scan was all good which is so nice to hear/know! 😄Feel so much better knowing everything was as it should be and all looked perfectly normal! Feel like I can just relax even more now and just wait for the right time for us now. I am thinking I should ovulate later this week so shall wait and see how we get on 😊

Hjudge56 · 23/05/2022 09:39

@Shaker21 yeah I think it’s best to wait till Wednesday (if I can!!) fingers crossed FRER does me proud and gives me a BFP! I feel very similarly to what I did last month, which in one sense is good because an egg was fertilised but on the flip in resulted in a chemical so I don’t really want to get my hopes up! I don’t usually get sore nipples or cramping everyday from ovulation so we shall see! If I’m not pregnant I am 100% going to stop symptom spotting!

that’s such great news that the scab went good! Will definitely put your mind at rest! That’s so positive and lovely to hear. We’re all usually freaking out on here tbh so it’s really nice to read when someone is feeling positive and relaxed!

Hi @Shaker21 This will be cycle 2 of trying, so far I'm doing okay thank you. Trying not to symptom spot and over think it all but it's difficult when it's on your mind a lot of the time. Hopefully I will keep busy at work. I think I'm going to test on the last day of this month, AF will be due on the 3rd June.

If I'm completely honest I can't remember what symptoms I experienced very early on/before taking a pregnancy test my youngest is 7 so it was a while ago 🙈 I do remember feeling nauseous with my first from around 5/6 weeks onwards.

Aardbeien · 23/05/2022 10:18

At the end of my tww now, BFN so far but no AF either. I was stressed and ill earlier in the month so I'm convinced at this point I just didn't ovulate when I was supposed to, I can't tell if the symptoms I have are AF in the wings or a future BFP. It's a frustrating and exciting wait 😫

Shaker21 · 23/05/2022 10:57

@Hjudge56 I really hope you get your BFP! I hate symptom spotting, it is the worst! How is it we managed to go months with not noticing all of this stuff until you are trying and it all becomes all you can feel or think about! Yeah I am really trying to chill, I am sure when I am later in the month and start getting all the symptom spotting going it will be a different story 😂It's nice to have people on here to talk to that are going through the same thing you are.

@allthingssparkly Oh so it has been a while since you was last ttc then! How exciting for you. Are you just going with the flow or have you been tracking since starting?

@Aardbeien Hi 😊How many DPO do you think you should be today if you ovulated when you think you had? What symptoms are you feeling?

allthingssparkly · 23/05/2022 11:05

It has been a while @Shaker21 and honestly I will be so excited if I've concieved this cycle! 😊

I tracked with BBT & OPK's last cycle and all was looking promising but then AF arrived, I don't think we DTD enough/timed it right last cycle if I'm honest. This cycle I'm certain we've timed it better even though I haven't done OPK's or BBT. My cycles are pretty much the same with cycle length of 29 days. I went off EWCM this time plus ov pain. Certain I ovulated CD16 like last cycle. We DTD CD11,13,14,15 & 17 so 🤞🤞🤞

X

Aardbeien · 23/05/2022 11:05

@Shaker21 Hi! I think I'm about 13 dpo but I didn't do an ovulation test, just basing it on a period app and some physical signs at the time. I've been exhausted, unusually so. Tender breasts, headaches, a little nausea this morning. I think it's all in my head though. I don't want to get my hopes up as we haven't been trying efficiently but I've been off the pill for 5 months now so every cycle I think "surely this time"

allthingssparkly · 23/05/2022 11:24

Sorry @Shaker21 forgot to tag you properly in the above message x

Shaker21 · 23/05/2022 11:35

@allthingssparkly Yeah I had done the same 2 cycles ago where we had just BD every other day as well as peak and day of ovulation and didn't catch so the following cycle decided to pretty much BD every single day through fertile window and 2 days after ovulation to make sure we caught it but still no luck. It can be so frustrating. I am trying to take a more relaxed approach this cycle and not tracking. Not really much else I can try at this point, just wait and hope 😬

@Aardbeien We sound quite similar with our times at the moment, I came off my pill in November and was testing with OPKs and got my first ovulation in January and now in cycle 5 currently. I also do the same every month where I am thinking 'surely must be it this month' It always so disheartening every month 😔

Aardbeien · 23/05/2022 11:46

@Shaker21 Ah, we're cycle buddies! I wish you the best with this/the next cycle! If we're lucky soon next spring we'll have our little joys with us 😊

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing oh no, I’m so sorry to see this post. Have got my fingers crossed for you. I know some spotting is normal in early pregnancy so it could be nothing, and I really hope so for you. I hope you’re ok.

Shaker21 · 24/05/2022 13:23

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing Oh no! I am keeping everything crossed that it is just normal spotting and nothing more than that! Test again tomorrow and see, I really hope it is all ok. x

It definitely looks darker to me. It might be implantation spotting?

Shaker21 · 24/05/2022 16:41

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing It definitely looks darker! Fingers crossed tomorrow mornings one is too. Have you got any appointments to have it confirmed by doctors or anything?
