[ANP2020]

Hello ladies!

I’ve been reading these threads (at all hours clearly!) I just wondered if anyone was currently in their 2WW and wanted to join me? It’s so long!! I’m ttc number 2, have a 4 year old son, fell first time with him luckily so certainly not expecting the same this time round. This is our first cycle. I’m only using an app not any ovulation sticks so not sure how many days po I am, but According to app fertile window ended yesterday. AF due 21st I only have 24/25 day cycles since coming off my pill.

Anywhoo no symptoms yet as too early! I’ve had ovulation cramps and a few nights of very intense dreams. I think the only symptoms I can remember pre bfp with my son was really really sore boobs, couldn’t bare a bra on!! And really tired.

Please people join me to symptom spot and keep each other company during the 2WW.

@Shaker21 AF is usually always 2 weeks to a tee after ovulation date! So may be 28th/29th May im due AF! The cramps are way more subtle now and no more aching so who knows!

I really respect that approach and tbh if this month hasn’t worked I think I will follow your lead! It is so mentally consuming!

@Hjudge56 Yeah I was using Premom which is a really good tracking app but I found myself going on the app and flicking through people's posts and what other people were saying and where I was at and what my chart was looking like, comparing it to other months and just found it really consuming and in my head all the time so fingers crossed this will just feel a lot mentally better than I had been 😊

@Shaker21 totalky get that! It’s a big dark hole once you start falling in and over assessing! Fingers crossed this is our cycle and we won’t have to keep falling in!

I think I’m due my AF soon as had very bad cramps yesterday and was quite moody which is often a sign. But also my heart rate on Fitbit has rocketed, which was also a sign of pregnancy last time. I dunno now, just got to wait a few days to see what happens.

@Shaker21 im loving your approach this month!! I feel more relaxed this month! Not on mums net or my other apps every 2 mins like previously but ive not consciously done it! I think I was just so sad with my last bfn I’m convinced it’s going to be another bfn! I can’t take seeing another bfn this month so I won’t be testing till after AF missed if it misses!

@Hjudge56 hope your doing ok too? Any updates?

so for me I’m just plodding on through fertile window CD 12 today an no sign of ovulation according to opks or even close! I didn’t ovulate till CD 19 last month so might be another week yet. We’re just dtd every other day regardless. Except this weekend as he’s gone away so missed a day.

@ANP2020 Ahh I didn't realise we was so close in our cycle, I am CD11 today. I had some really bad pains in my right side last night, I've never ever had them as sharp and painful as they was. Normally I can just carry on with stuff and I just notice the pain and then it goes. These ones were sharp and I had to stop they was so bad. Only lasted about 10 seconds each and had 2 or 3 maybe. Not too sure what that was all about? I'm hoping just ovulation pain. I'm thinking I could ovulate maybe anytime from now till CD16 so potentially in fertile window now. I feel like I am definitely not thinking about it so much with not having the app. It has been nice actually. 🙂

@ANP2020 @Shaker21 the relaxed approach sounds very sensible and takes a lot of strain off mentally. I’m pretty sure my AF is going to arrive today, had some pink tinged CM this morning (sorry tmi). I got it into my head that I was pregnant, it’s so daft isn’t it and thinking “what will be” is definitely the right way of approaching this. Onwards and upwards

im okay @ANP2020 !! 7DPO today and silly me did a cheapie and was BFN! Cramps have calmed down now just got sore nipples and felt slightly nauseous today! Trying not to read into it too much as I know rising levels in progesterone can do the same!

You’ve been on this thread with me since the beginning and I know it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions for u but your patience paid off and you’ve inspired me it will happen!! Just have to wait your turn! I have to ask did you do anything differently this month!?

@Shaker21 sounds promising like strong ovulation pains!! Hopefully it is! My OPKs are still lightish, Premom saying still low! It’s my first month using Premom and I must say the values of the stick change dependent upon lighting! So I’m just taking it with a pinch of salt and trying to Bd every other day throughout the cycle! OH is back from his weekend away but he was far too hungover for anything tonight ao
back to it tomorrow!

@Annapolis35 any AF update? Could be late implantation? I know the mind is cruel isn’t it! I’ve been so convinced before!! And then when I get a BFN or AF comes im like how could I be so wrong! I really hope it happens for you this month!

@Hjudge56 its so tempting isn’t it to do it especially if you have tests in the house! I started at 6DpO last month! I even knew they’d be BFN but couldn’t help myself!! All of those sound promising though but like you say sensible to remain level headed about it! But I’m certainly not when it comes to symptom spotting! Every month I have something new and random
as well that convinces me and it’s always wrong!

@ANP2020 AF arrived yesterday. I had a bit of a mopey day yesterday and cried a lot. But now I’ve slept I feel more positive. In a way it’s a relief as it’s the first proper AF since January and my body is back to 29-day cycles so that is good. On to the next cycle!

@Annapolis35 im sorry to hear AF came! Your definitely allowed to mope! I haven’t experienced what you have this year and when AF arrived this month I shut down for 2 days! Really sad, didn’t want to talk to anyone! So distracted so you are definitely allowed! I’m glad your feeling a bit brighter and your right it’s signs that things are all working as they should, and onto the next cycle! It won’t be long before your in the 2WW again.

@ANP2020 thank you! I have to say you ladies on here have been so supportive and helped so much. It’s a lovely community of people going through something really hard together and gives me a lot of hope for humanity in general that people are just kind. Yep! I’ll be on here analyzing my boob twinges and if that means anything in no time haha. How’s your 2ww going?

@Annapolis35 Sorry AF showed, a mopey day is always allowed but like you say it is a nice sign to see your cycles are back to the 29 day cycle. On to the next one and before you know it you'll be back in to the tww!

@ANP2020 Yeah I did find that with Premom that you do have to take the picture of the tests in the same light, I wouldn't pay too much attention to the number next to the test and instead just look at the colour of the test line compared to the control line. What DPO did you tend to ovulate on previous months? Did you use ovulation test previous months?

@allthingssparkly Welcome 😊How long have you been ttc number 3? How are you feeling? Did you find any symptoms you had with your previous 2 that jumped out for pregnancy that you are looking for now?

@Hjudge56 How you doing? Is it 8DPO today? Sorry to hear about the BFN yesterday but is still really early! What DPO do you tend to have AF arrive normal months?
