[ANP2020]

Hello ladies!

I’ve been reading these threads (at all hours clearly!) I just wondered if anyone was currently in their 2WW and wanted to join me? It’s so long!! I’m ttc number 2, have a 4 year old son, fell first time with him luckily so certainly not expecting the same this time round. This is our first cycle. I’m only using an app not any ovulation sticks so not sure how many days po I am, but According to app fertile window ended yesterday. AF due 21st I only have 24/25 day cycles since coming off my pill.

Anywhoo no symptoms yet as too early! I’ve had ovulation cramps and a few nights of very intense dreams. I think the only symptoms I can remember pre bfp with my son was really really sore boobs, couldn’t bare a bra on!! And really tired.

Please people join me to symptom spot and keep each other company during the 2WW.

This is going to sound stupid but I never know. When people say DPO are you counting it from the last day of ovulation or the first day or the peak?

My AF is due on the 2nd. Do you think I could test on the 28th?

I felt sick last night for an hour in the evening just like I did with DS. Not sure if my mind is just playing tricks on me though!

I also caved and got BFP can't believe it as we only managed to DTD once at ovulation.

Still no af for me, oddly all af signs vanished from sunday til this afternoon. infact kept randomly getting heartburn. As i was waiting for test to develop i could feel af symptoms (i think)

Well I did a FRER today really stupid.. only held my wee for 2 hours I'm 10dpo today's and it was a definite negative. Starting to think I'm out this month. I don't have any symptoms other than what I had at the weekend which I thought could have been implantation, I'm thinking now if was just a bug. Feeling fed up of going through this every month. I'm sure you all no how I feel!! I am due on either Thursday or Saturday (2 app's say different things.) I'm going to do one for test on Thursday morning. I'll be 12dpo. Then that's it if it's negative I'll just wait for my period to arrive.

Sorry some of you are still getting BFNs. My AF has arrived today, a day early, what a treat!

@SkeletonSkins @ANP2020 I would love to try and hold out longer than I did this month next time. I’m going bigger on the OPKs and will try and not test u til AF is late. Been being very strict about logging my symptoms in this 2WW so at least I can compare next time. Phantom symptoms drove me mad and that’s what caused me to want to test early.

And congrats @HellsBellsK as well!

I just counted my cycle day and realised im day 36. I normally have a 32-34 days cycle. Starting to feel a bit of pressure and very slight cramps much like last week but this time it must be af. I expect it in next 24hrs *sobs

Sorry to those that got af, but glad the wait for it is over. Best of luck for next cycle

Still no AF. CD33 now so 5 days over.
Still no signs of AF arriving, did a FRER negative yesterday. Just come on already! Don't think I've ever wished for my period to come in my life until now.

Aww @pinkpirlie I feel your frustration.

I still have this pinkish/brownish discharge on and off for the last 4 days 🤷🏻‍♀️. (Sorry for the TMI) Im now like 3 days late but in all fairness I may have ovulated late. Anyways never had this discharge before, waiting for it to turn into AF. Had the worst nausea today. Feel like my body is playing trick on me. BFN yesterday, ill test in a few days if nothing.

Still no AF for me, really starting to think I must not have ovulated as it’s now 15dpo. Feeling pretty gutted as it means my medication isn’t working after all so who knows if and when I’ll ovulate :( had some cramps today but not sure what that means. Seriously fed up with PCOS.

It’s so frustrating for those still waiting I really feel for u! It’s such a cruel limbo! I actually feel a weight lifted off me today as I have renewed hope of a new cycle! But @smiles39 I’m definitely going to try to hold out till AF due next time! Although enduring the SS I know me, I’ll cave but I’d like to think I can hold out!!

@SkeletonSkins what medication do you take to help with your PCOS? I really hope those cramps mean something either way!

Can I ask you guys a question! So I’ve ordered today clearblue ovulation digital sticks, first time ever using OPK. As I seem to have slightly shorter 25/26 day cycles it pretty much tells me to start testing the day after my period finishes! But do you guys dtd from then anyway or do you just wait till you get the smiley face! I’m not sure if we should try dtd every other day and then every day when the smiles appear (very ambitious). Would love to know what others do?

I never get highs on OKPs so we just DTD every other day from CD10 to CD20. Although I'm going to up that to CD22 after my apparent late ovulation this month.

In your case I would DTD from CD6 to CD16 I reckon, assuming 14 days from ovulation to AF and if your cycles are regular.

@ANP2020 this month we dtd whenever we fancied up until I got flashing smileys then every day for about 6 days. My oh said he couldn’t feel anything on the 6th day - full on but did the trick.

I don’t know if any of you have fitbits but my heart rate has gone bananas. It’s gone sky high and goes so high when I’m just standing up or light walking, previously would only ever be that high when I was exercising vigorously. I’m sat down right now and it’s at 100. Crazy.

Thanks guys!! Wish me luck! First time round DS1 was conceived using an app but my cycles are a bit shorter so just not sure things time! And I had ewcm for loads of days so that wasn’t useful either 🤦🏽‍♀️

@ANP2020 I have shorter cycles too 25 days. Last month I was too excited to get started and we had sex everyday from the day my period finished to day 12 then I used OPK and I think I missed ovulation so we did EOD until my EWCM disappeared. Mine too lasted for ages last cycle.

Bought the clearblue OPK for this cycle and will start on day 6 so I know exactly when I’ve ovulated this time around. Will probably be the same as last month and too keen to get started as soon as period finishes!

Maybe that is the secret. We DTD loads but it didn't work out. Maybe less is more!!
