Sharp shooting pain

Hi, i have been ttc for the last 10 weeks or so. I am 38 & already have a soon to be 18 year old son.
January's AF came on time but was so much lighter than ever before which was very odd for me. This month i was due on 6th feb but af arrived 3 days early. I have never been early only 1-2 days late if i have lost too much weight through stress.
Day number 1 was just spotting, (i have never spotted before) day number 2 Normal flow (with clots) day 3 spotting, day 4 spotting, day 5 spotting, day 6 (today) the most tiniest amount of spotting only when wiping after the loo but it has now stopped this evening. Around 6 hours ago i started having a shooting, sharp, short, stabbing kind of feeling in my left lower abdomen. It comes every few minutes and last about 2 seconds. Its enough to make me tense up and then its gone. I would say it comes back every 4 mins or so. I have done pregnancy tests and they are 100%negative. Any ideas of what this pain could be? X

Potentially a cyst on your ovary if not pregnancy? I had a pain just like this but it was only the once and I learned that you can have little cysts on your ovary that aren't dangerous and can rupture on their own!
Don't take my word for it of course but just an idea ❤️

@daisiesblue Thank you for your reply. I actually do have cysts on my ovary. Years ago i have the copper coil fitted and it burst a cyst 😳 The most horrific pain i ever felt, and i bled straight away aswell. The pain was so bad my legs had no feeling they were like jelly xx

@Littlekel84 OUCH! 😩
Maybe this could have something to do with the pain? But potentially not if it's not jelly legs bad 😂 Hope you get some answers soon! Sending love ❤️
