Positive? Negative? Evaps??

So after not having a period since having my daughter 5 months ago, not surprised as I’m breastfeeding, I thought I better do a test just in case.

To my surprise, the top test in the picture is what I saw 👀 this was around 5pm. I have just taken two further tests (around 2 hours later) and they both appear to be negative. Opinions?!

Top one is positive to me, looks like a decent brand of test too, did you read it within the 10 minutes?

So the first one I did and then walked away from, I’m not 100% if it was 10 minutes or a little longer which is why I thought I should repeat the test. Now I’m just so confused! I have had positive tests on the little strip tests previously so I know they work usually.

The two below look like they got in contact with too much liquid; maybe over the line where no wee should get in contact with?

The top one looks solid though, did it show up in time?

@Bundaberg84 I think it may have been a little over the 10 minute time frame but I can’t say for sure as I walked away and left it!

I think you need to retest tomorrow morning.... Do you have some tests left?

@Bundaberg84 I have lots of the test strips (like the second two tests) so I will repeat those tomorrow. Thanks for replying

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me, took clear blue this morn not fmu. I walked away and forgot about it but looked negative when strip was changing colour. It's now I think an evap line but just want some conformation as going mad. It's quite a thick evap line. I have read all these tests show up positive which is really sad

@Fatgrace1likely to be an evap line from what you have said but I would try a pink dye test to be sure x

@Bundaberg84 I used a first response test this morning and looks negative!

I tested again with clear blue and another brand, both negative this morning although clear blue looks like could be getting another evap line, so disappointed.

@Jbrt4 is that a good thing? Or are you disappointed?

@Fatgrace1 sorry to hear. CB are really, really bad with their evaps. I will never buy one again.

@Bundaberg84 to be honest I was freaked out initially when I thought the test may be positive, although possibly a little disappointed now it’s negative. We do have our hands full with our daughter though so maybe it’s just not our time right now!

To me they both looks positive. I'm in a similar position with this result this morning. I thought evaps had no colour but this one does. 7 dpo is that too soon to get a positive? Any help/opinions appreciated

@Jbrt4 Is it my eyes or is there a very faint second line there? I'd definitely be testing again tomorrow. How many dpo? x

@TBay07 7dpo is very early. Not even 10% will test positive by then. I like this site here: www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/dpo-chart.php?dpo=7

And unfortunately the cb show blue indents or evaps, whatever it actually is. The line is supposed to be the same width.

@bundaberg84 that's a great website thanks! It's really hard to see in that picture bit there is a really faint line the same width with the stronger line being really thin at the edge. It is super early though so I've ordered some first response tests to start tomorrow 🙈🤞 x

@TBay07 Do you think you see a second line?? I was thinking negative! 🙉 I have no idea where in my cycle I am as I haven’t had a period since having my daughter 5 months ago now x

@Jbrt4 it's usually harder to see on a picture but I know the FR lines are really thin so I'd definitely retest again in a day or two to see, especially if you don't know how many dpo you'd be x
