One step tests - false positives?

So I have taken soooo many one step tests and have got 2 positives yesterday last night but today they have been negative!!
Has anyone else had this? Can you get a false positive?

I'm currently isolating so will go shop as soon as possible to get another brand of test but it's driving me crazy!

If you go over the max line and flood the test you can get a line or if you look at the strip after the time it says to read it by you can get an evaporation line.

Could you order a Frer or clear blue digital on Amazon to be delivered tomorrow or something?

Same thing happened to me , I used a clear blue and the line was very thick and came up instantly.

They look too positive to be false. How many dpo are you?

Over 2-3 days I had some positives and some negatives on One Step tests and it was driving me mad. I bought a FRER and there was a nice clear line. Those tests do look positive to me. Good luck!

I will get a another brand test in the week

Well I had some mid cycle bleeding (10 days before period was due) that was only spotting for a few days when I tested around my actual period the test was negative so I took that bleed as my period. But I just haven't felt right a lot of lower back pain and cramps. So tested Friday night with 2 positive tests then negatives the next day.

I am now 8 days past my original period date
