Let me start by saying that I absolutely 100% don't care what gender my dcs are.
But I know there are several people with lots of boys on here and a couple coming along behind with all girls (waves you know who you are) and I read that if you have 2 boys you have something like an 80% chance of having a third boy. What exactly is the figure? Is it the same for girls? If you have 3 ds or 3 dd what are the chances? if you have 4....

Thanks

Hi can i just add i think when men get older they tend to produce girls (please dont all jump on me and whack me!!) just in my experience thats all... my best friend has 4 boys then skip 13yrs they have a girl...another friend 3 boys..skip 9yrs..and a girl.. another friend has 4 girls left her hubby for 20something guy had a boy 1 an half and is due in march with her second boy!!!

But then again my mum is 1 of 15 YES 15 children she has 7 brothers and 7 sisters her being the 8th sister of course... 5 of the brothers are the youngest!!

I think its 50/50 LOL....hapy new year all x

My dad (an ex submariner) reckons submariners only ever produced girls.....

Ah holly- your Nan's a lightweight, mine had 16 LOL - 8 of each.

I've read that as men age their sprerm get 'weaker' and that as female sprem are stronger (but not so fast) they are indeed more likely to father girls, ditto men with low sperm counts. No idea if research backs this up mind.

wow peachy!! i wish i was as fertile as my nan lol...

Read a study that if men are stressed (eg stressful jobs), they tend to sire girls.

That makes sense!

If my DH was any more laid back, he'd fall over.

(five boys)
