Any idea when you ovulated?

FRER says 6 days early I think. So tomorrow.

I have been known to pee on a stick very early though 😂

Wait until your period is a week late. Nothing worse than trying to see if there's a faint line there or not.

I didn't get a positive on cheapys until the day before period was due. FRER I got a faint line 5 days before x

If you don't know when you ovulated then it's difficult to tell when your period is due - apps can only track via guess work and averages.

Generally speaking you will always have roughly the same time between ovulation and period (luteal phase) so tracking ovulation will give you the best idea of when you can test and when your period is actually late, not just estimated to be late!

You can use ovulation predictor kits similar to pregnancy tests - you test them with wee once a day and they show you when your hormone level indicates you may be ovulating. They might take a month or two to get used to, but you can get them quite cheap on amazon. I used easy@home brand and they worked well.

You can also use a thermometer to test your temperature every morning which will confirm when ovulation has taken place. You need a thermometer which has 2 decimal places to be accurate - search BBT thermometer to get the right one.

To be 100% sure of ovulation I would use ovulation strips and BBT together, depending on how serious you are about trying - we wanted to maximise our chances every month so I did as much as I could!
