What is this brown discharge??

Really sorry for this TMI photo but period is due either today or tomorrow, I put a pad on earlier just to be safe. Just been for a wee and this brown discharge is on the pad! Someone enlighten me why I have this? I've never had it before when due/on my period ... 🤔

I get this before my period begins. Every time it starts off like this.
