Ovulation test strips

Bought some ovulation test strips, am I right in saying that when the test line is as dark as the control line that's a good indicator your close to ovulating?

Yea that's right! My tend to stay exactly like that throughout my cycle until the day before of my peak - it darkens slightly and then the following day it's as dark or darker xxx

Are you supposed to use these tests once a day every day apart from when your on your period?

Really want to gain an understanding of when I'm actually ovulating, my periods are so regular (cycles are 29/30 days) but I have no idea when in my cycle I'm ovulating 🙈

Yeah so I think a lot of people will start testing from cd7 or 8 (cd1 is the first day of your period). The fact that you're so regular - I reckon you ovulate between day 12 and 15...but you never know for sure without testing. Also a big give away is discharge. When you start getting the egg white stuff - that's a really good indication xx

Thanks so much, CD1 is today for me but on the pad I put on earier I've just been to the toilet and there's a small amount of brown on the pad not red 🤷🤷 which I have never had before! Bizarre.

I will definitely ovulation test from CD7 as my periods are only 5 days long 😊 xx
