Evening all!

On the off chance there are any t1ds around, can I ask what your HBA1C was at conception please? And how it impacted (or hopefully didn’t impact) the health of your baby?

Thanks!

I'm not totally sure I can remember - mine are 13 and 8 so a while ago. I think around 6.5% second time, nearer 7% first. Both improved throughout, babiesfibe but quite big. Good luck!

I haven't concieved yet but mine is around 6.8/51 I believe. My doctors said they were happy for me to try at that point.

Thanks ladies. I think the official target is 43(?) but I just don’t think that is achievable for me - I’m hoping for 50 or under 🤞🏻

Hi, mine was pretty bad at conception can’t remember exactly but once I found out i was pregnant (would have been after 2 weeks). I had good control, though quite a few lows in the early days . Baby was born very healthy and is now a perfect (in my opinion!) 19 month old. You’ll be fine, but if I were to give you some advice it’s to remember that low is not preferable to high, that’s the mistake I made in the first few weeks and doctor then informed me that lows aren’t good either !
