I have ready such conflicting reviews over these tests. Period is 2 days late and been feeling pretty tired not been ttc as have a just 6 month old who is my 4th baby! Have had a LOT of stress lately so put feeling exhausted down to that and a not sleeping baby

I picked these up this morn got back and did one left it on side and saw to baby. Came back and was a line thought could be an indent as had been left for about 20 mins. Immediately did the other one in the pack and a line come up immediately. I'm going to leave it and try to get a branded test in a few days but is this a reliable positive?! Was not fmu. I'm in shock. They are known for false positives right?

@Vie8126 If the line showed up immediately, and not even with a long hold, I don't see how this could be a false positive. The line is clearly visible!

@Bundaberg84 thank you... Ah I see. I've just read so many reviews on them giving false positives ive convinced myself of that best I start getting my head into gear that it could be likely to be a positive. I mean there's obviously a chance as we had unprotected sex probably around the time I ovulated so shouldn't be a surprise. Just we tried for ds for nearly 1. 5yrs and I'm almost 41 so didn't think anything of it at the time oops.

@Vie8126 I think you should, yes :)

Vie8126 · 02/02/2022 11:44

Thanks Smile I still cant get my head around it as all the reviews on tesco website say false positives. I'll defo have to get another brand tomorrow and try!

I found this one, maybe it helps... www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/brand-chart.php?brandid=42
"Only" 2% show a false positive. The reviews on the website are accurate, I'm sure. But then again, you'd only comment on their website if you're unhappy, not when you're happy. Therefore they aren't really statistically accurate so to speak.

Vie8126 · 02/02/2022 12:22

Ah okay. I just looked at the reviews on the tesco shopping page and everyone said false positives Confused ultimately I need to go back tomorrow and get an alternative brand and start to prep dp incase it is a true positive 😊

@Sct1 if it was later in the day maybe you had diluted your hormones too much try again with fmu and maybe a different brand. I don't know much about die runs but I'd say that was a positive test!
