Hi all, sorry been away from the thread been sickly and tired and to be honest I'm scared to write about how I'm feeling because either way I feel like I'm going to end up being hurt by it.
I'm 7+1 today based on 'lmp' and got a scan tomorrow to hopefully hear a heartbeat.

@Kelb79 how's Spain treating you?

@Bubbles1995 hope AF is almost gone, sorry you've had a rollercoaster month with TTC and everything else.

@Babyghirl such great news and lovely scan photo. Thinking of you.

@Annny27 can't even start to imagine how baby kicks feel. Bet you're over the moon.

I am okay thank you, had an internal scan at EPAU today and my body seems to have done it’s job 🙏

@Izzyboo1234 glad it's come to an end quickly. It can be even more painful when it's dragged out. The decision is very personal I know but fingers crossed you catch again quickly if that's what you and your partner decide and that it's a sticky bean. x

I do feel grateful. Thank you, we very much want to try as soon as we can and we pray the next time will lead to a healthy baby. Thank you for your support ☺️

Hi ladies

Ive had a break from ttc for a little while, recognise a few names on here from 2021 when I was last on. I’ve had 2 missed miscarriages then decided to have a break as my mental health was totally shot and I’m finally getting married in 2 months and didn’t want to risk having a third miscarriage just before the wedding and not being able to face people again. Will be starting ttc at the end of July which I’m 80% terrified about and 20% excited about.

Scan later this morning for me, so nervous. Been quite constipated and this morning managed to go which I'm pretty sure is nerves haha! This day last year our scan was bad news and this stage in gestation has never been positive for us so literally hoping for the best so much.
Will be straight on here after to tell you all either way x

@PeanuttyButter thank you. I have a holiday planned which due to lockdown it's my boyfriend and is first holiday aboard and I can't wait for a break. So just going to focus on trying to get in a better mindset continuing my healthy lifestyle and just enjoy life because I'm finding that hard at the min

Hi, has anyone else had the same as me? I had my MC in March and af turned up mid April pretty much when expected. This month no sign of af at all and negative pregnancy tests. Currently cycle day 36 which is longer than I've ever had before. Why was my cycle normal last month and now really long? Is it maybe not MC related?

So back from my scan. All looked good. Measuring 6+4 (CRL 7.3mm) and I had myself at 6+5 which is great. Heartbeat detected too. I'm cautiously over the moon x

@PeanuttyButter That is incredibly great news! It all looks very positive to me and I'm so excited for you! Do you know when your next scan is? I ended up having a scan around every two weeks with my 🌈, some privately, just because I felt like I needed to see how the baby was doing. I hope you can relax and enjoy this pregnancy as much as possible xxxx

@Frida9 after mine my cycles were all over the place for a while, some short, some really long - all adds to the heartache and confusion. I hope AF shows up soon for you

@H0peing I will be having a scan on Monday from the EPU. I should be discharged from there following that. Then i will continue with my scans with the recurrent miscarriage clinic after that. They are going to scan me on 14th, so aiming for every 2 weeks when possible.

The consultant told me to wait til after my next scan before having my booking in appointment with the midwife. Which I can't tell if it's being sensibly cautious or if there's something to read into... Anyway trying to enjoy the possibility of having a baby early January.

@PeanuttyButter I shouldn’t have thought it would be anything to read in too. Just trying to look after you I bet. I had a lovely call from a diff midwife on the way to EPAU yesterday, getting all defensive that the gp surgery didn’t email them to say I had a miscarriage. I rang my gp they had emailed, I don’t think she had checked. I wouldn’t contact them until I was about 8/10 next time.

we started IVF yesterday!!!!! 😳😳😳

I guess if you go to look at a puppy… you’re coming home with a puppy right 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
the consultation just felt right I guess, they assumed we wanted to go ahead with donor but we said no, so they did tests and are happy to go ahead with my eggs. OHs sperm is top notch except for swimming a bit on the slow side so maybe that was our problem 🤷🏼‍♀️
they only counted 7 follicles with me but said that’s not bad and would hopefully be good enough after stims.

so I started primer meds yesterday working towards starting stims at the beginning of July and a retrieval between 11th-16th!!!!!!! 😳😳😳😳 omfg!!!

its been hugely overwhelming…. Exciting and terrifying all at once!

had some major anxiety as the pharmacy sent the wrong type of stims by mistake - same drug but we were expecting preloaded pens and they sent vials that needed mixing with no syringes or needles!!
Had a drama getting hold of what we needed back here in time!!
It messed my head right up about it all!!
but I went for lunch with some close friends yesterday - 2 of them are a lesbian couple who told us they’d had their egg retrieval the day before!!! I knew they had been planning IVF but they’d kept it quiet they were at that stage 😍😍
they had spare needles and syringes and could show us how to mix and administer mine 😅
all going well now!!!

@MrsF111 sorry for your losses 😞 congratulations on your up and coming wedding. I think we will be TTC at around the same time. Just coming towards the end (I hope) of my first miscarriage, and apprehension but can’t wait to ttc again.

Woke up feeling sad this morning, it all started around this time last week and just wish I was still pregnant 😞

Morning :) had private scan last week and realised why I have been feeling so much movement - such an active little one haha!

@Kelb79 omg omg haha HOW EXCiTING! My friend has just done ivf after 3 years and a loss and she is pregnant again :) fingers crossed for you too. I net it feels nice to be being proactive!

@Izzyboo1234 it's a really emotional time and your hormones will be all over the place! After my MMC and Erpc I cried for a week!

@Annny27 glad the scan went well. They thought my mum was having twins with my brother that they had missed because her belly was moving around so much 😂
I've got a scan every 2 weeks on the NHS. Got one on Monday then one on the 14th. Just taking it a day at a time at the moment.
Got a strange cramping sensation at the moment, hoping it's a big poo wanting to make its way out, that progesterone doesn't half bung you up 😂

@Izzyboo1234 sending you so much love ❤️ my MC was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. I still get so sad about it now. And tbh, you can only really understand the pain if you’ve been through it yourself so most people around you will make you feel like you’re overreacting - but you’re not. It’s ok not to be ok and there’s absolutely no right way to deal with this. Be whatever you need to be. A really good book that I read recently and wish I had read sooner is “The miscarriage map” by Sunita Osbourn. It helped me normalise my feelings completely 🙏🏼🙏🏼

@PeanuttyButter im so glad they’re scanning so often!! After all you’ve been through that security will be amazing!!

@Bubbles1995 enjoy that holiday lovely! TTC can be such a horrific journey and to be going through it during covid aswell - I think we’ve all probably underestimated the impact of that on top!!

im on day 3 of protocol 🫣 OH did my injection last night (no way I could!!) and I was so worried he’d mess it up or it would hurt more but he was amazing!! I feel fine about that now 🙏🏼🙏🏼 One more injection of my primer tonight then it’s just supplements until the start of July 😁😁
