Has anyone conceived with “old sperm”? TTC after MC

Had a MC at the start of January and am TTC again. Long story short, dh is on medication which makes it difficult for him to ‘get there’. We successfully managed to fully BD on CD14. Tried to BD again on CD16 and CD20 but dh didn’t finish. Positive OPK on CD20, today is CD21 and I’m having right sided pains so I’m pretty sure I’m ovulating today. So I guess my only hope of a BFP this month is if the sperm could have survived 7 days from CD14 to CD21… is this possible?

It's not impossible, but chances aren't too high I'm afraid. That being said, even though he didn't finish, it might be possible that there was some pre-ejaculatory fluid? I read a study once that said in 50% of the cases there were enough sperm count and motility to conceive.

Can't you BD today? If you've got O pains then your egg has enough life left to fertilise today surely?
