I keep reading when people relaxed and stopped stressing and thinking about it that's when they got pregnant but how do you stop?! How do you switch off and not think about it?

I would love to know the answer to this. I was only looking into stress affecting ttc today. I'm naturally anxious and now being over a year into ttc, it's not getting any easier!

I've not been using OPKs and testing early has chilled me out a little, stops me focusing on certain stages of the cycle. This was on the advice of my fertility doctor.

I've heard a lot of good things about reflexology. Not tried that one yet though so can't advise.

One thing that might help is not to put your life on hold while you're TTC. Not going to a party because you're in the TWW. Planning everything around the fertile week. Not planning holidays because you might be pregant by then.
I stopped using opk two cycles ago and it helps a bit.

I have no idea, think it's easier said than done! It's very easy to become obsessed as we all know too well, and how can you not be when it's the thing you want the most in the whole world but have no control over. I'm trying not to give myself a hard time about worrying but instead trying to plan some things to keep me a bit distracted. We're going on holiday this year (hopefully.. covid permitting!) because we haven't been away for the last year 'in case I'm pregnant'. Trying not to put things off and enjoy life in the meantime 🤞🏼

I don't and it's rubbish.

Meditate - I’ve got a Tibetan singing bowl and I’ve got the 6 minute journal where I write my gratitude lists daily.

I also just genuinely accepted I would be a mum when the time was right under any circumstances that would allow me to be e.g. 5 years time, adoption, surrogacy, I thought about the positives to each one, 5 years would mean we’d be great financially and probably have a bigger house etc

Also I focused all my energy into work and planning 7 holidays this year - now I can’t go on most of them! Life works in mysterious ways!
