When to do pregnancy test? Positive OPK on CD19

I've had a very weird cycle (full disclosure, first time I've ever OPK). Around CD10-14 when I was supposed to ovulate according to Premom I got very low LH readings. But did get some eggwhite with some blood and also some brown discharge, plus some ovulation pain. So I thought something had happened and I had tried to ovulate but had failed. I stopped testing on CD17.
On CD18 I got a massive amount of eggwhite type discharge (sorry for being so explicit) so I OPK again and got a very high reading. Then again that evening and I got an even higher one. Today (CD19) I tested again and it was low so it seems yesterday was my peak and I ovulated.
Premom app has changed my period prediction from the 8th of Feb to the 14th of Feb. I really really doubt my period will change, as I ALWAYS have 28-29 days cycle. I've been tracking my period for over 2 years in the Health app from iPhone and the last time I had a 33days cycle was Nov 2020. I read online about it and it seems I might have a short luteal cycle.

Two main questions here: what might happened during CD10-14 when I had ovulation symptoms but no LH peak?
Most importantly: can I still do a pregnancy test when I was supposed to get my period? Or should I assume that I'm getting a longer cycle this month and that my period could arrive anytime up to the 14th of Feb?

Sorry for the long post and thanks!

Maybe I should add I had my covid booster on the 15th of January.
However I had both doses in April and June last year, and having looked at my cycles from around those months, they were all 29 days.

I ovulated later than usual this month after my booster. And had similar symptoms a few days before my peak when I would normally ovulate. Test based on days post ovulation rather than days pre period - so I would test around 12dpo I guess?

Thanks @lakejupiter
I just thought about the booster last minute and thought it would be good to post it.
I also had covid early December so this might be why the booster was different too this time perhaps?
It's good to know (I guess) that what happened to me is sort of normal and that my cycles will have changed and that I shouldn't get excited to test on the 8th if I missed my period!!
