did the lines appear very quickly? A faint line that appears after 10 minutes or more is probably an evaporation line.

It is early to test, but if the lines appeared quickly, then you can trust that is a positive.

Line came up within about 2 mins, todays seemed darker than yesterday

congratulations ellielou02! I tested 3 days before AF with normal pregnancy test, got a BFP then tested with first responce (not to mention the 5 since, DH thinks i'm nuts - which i am but still)

what a start to 2008 eh?!

ellielou02 · 30/12/2007 14:33

Congrats to you mummywannabe my DH thinks I am crazy too testing all the time but it seems to be all you can think about once you start trying.

AF started last night, not using early preg tests again!

Oh I am sorry Ellielou, it potentially could have been a chemical pregnancy

Good luck for next month

Update, thought i would but clearview digital (cos of 3 faint positives) so used it and BFP so very confused now AF still going strong, phoned nhs 24 and they advised to treat as thought still pregnant, but also said to phone local maty unit, so I did and guess what they said to treat as normal AF!!!

Anyone else been in similar situation??

ellielou - I hope that the bleeding isn't a bad thing - it is possible to bleed and still be pg. I had the same earlier this year and sadly mine was a mc - but my gp said the main thing he looked out for was PAIN with bleeding. Apparently if you have no pain it is a good sign. Hope that helps - good luck, lady!

ellielou02 · 02/01/2008 19:25

No PAIN but ususal cramps!!

Hi ellielou, with my first pregnancy I had what seemed like a normal period but turned out to be implantation bleeding. All you can do is wait and see at this point, and test again after the bleeding stops - I know it's really hard!! good luck
