Is this a positive test?

Do you think this test is positive? I think I can see a faint line, but my partner thinks it would be much clearer if it was positive. I was due my period yesterday, and we are actively TTC.

Unfortunately, as we live rurally and it's a Sunday, I can't get to the shop to get a more accurate test and I'm not known for my patience. So if anyone has got good eyesight.... 🤣

Does look positive to me. Try again in morning with first wee of the day.

I can see it (and I NEVER see them 🤣)

Congratulations 🎉

YellowLemonz · 30/01/2022 17:15

It's positive!
Congratulations!

@JustYourAverageSue well it looks positive to me so congratulations! Did you make sure that the faint line appeared within the correct timeframe for reading as if it was over the specific time such as an hour later then it could likely be an evaporation line...

JustYourAverageSue · 30/01/2022 17:20

@CityCommuter It came up within the first few minutes and has got slightly darker over the last ten minutes or so, although the box says to discount anything after 5 minutes. Only did the test 20 mins or so ago so I'm hopeful.

Thanks everyone for checking for me. SmileDon't want to get too excited incase it is just an evap line, but I'll get another test when I go out tomorrow.

@JustYourAverageSue that's good, I'd be quiet confident then but would definitely test again tomorrow as I understand your impatience! It's exciting though!

Onlyrainbows · 30/01/2022 17:46

I had one of those... He's now sitting next to me!

LuckyWithMyLot · 30/01/2022 17:59

If you ovulated later this cycle, this could explain a lighter line. I got a line that faint at about 9 DPO on a FRER. If you used a cheaper test the line would be lighter than on a FRER.

JustYourAverageSue · 30/01/2022 18:30

It was a cheaper test. Pretty sure it's a
Home Bargains jobby that's been sitting in the cupboard since my last pregnancy. I'll
Go out and buy a decent one tomorrow.
If it is a positive then I have no idea how to tell my boss when the time comes. I'm still on maternity leave! 🙈

MummyMe87 · 30/01/2022 20:36

That looks very positive!

JustYourAverageSue · 01/02/2022 06:43

Just a little update... Did another test this morning and it's positive!
DP is very much in shock that we conceived on the first cycle as it took almost a year with our DS.
Thank you to everyone for checking for me Smile
