@MrsGrealish that's a great line!

Bubblesandballoons · 22/02/2022 09:07

@Nik84 hoping this is a new bfp for you 🤞🏻
@Coastaldreamer @Charl881 there’s still time, 9dpo is very early still.
@MadamMaltesers I’d still dtd as you can ovulate up to 36 hours after your peak.
@DM1720 congrats on your bfp

8dpo and seeing everyone testing is tempting me to test 😂. Trying to hold out till Friday.

Bubblesandballoons · 22/02/2022 09:13

@MrsGrealish that’s a fab line congrats

Charl881 · 22/02/2022 09:57

@MrsGrealish a much stronger line! How many dpo are you now? Congrats!

@Bubblesandballoons I know, I was determined to wait until at least Wednesday but couldn’t help myself with all these BFPs.

MrsGrealish · 22/02/2022 13:49

And I just tested positive for covid. Lovely
@Bubblesandballoons hold off as long as you can xx

Charl881 · 22/02/2022 15:02

@MrsGrealish oh no, not the second line you wanted to see! Fingers crossed you don’t get it too badly.

MrsGrealish · 22/02/2022 15:32

@Nik84 when I miscarried I had retained products (I hate that term) only found out by a massive bleed 2 weeks after I thought miscarriage was over so my hcg stayed up for a while. So totally different situation. Not helpful I know

DM1720 · 22/02/2022 15:47

@MrsGrealish oh no! I hope you’re doing ok! Are you sick? Nice clear line today on the pregnancy test though… that’s nice to see I’m sure!
@Charl881 9dpo is extremely early! I would consider 10dpo early too!
Thanks all for the well wishes on my positive. I’m not letting myself get too carried away in case it all goes wrong again. But I am very hopeful of course ☺️

DM1720 · 22/02/2022 15:50

@Nik84 I would test again tomorrow and you will know if it’s eve a small bit darker. I can’t imagine you’d have enough hcg in your system to have such a positive 4 weeks later! Esp if you had a negative a couple of weeks ago!! I would imagine this is a new positive! Best of luck!!

Nik84 · 22/02/2022 17:02

@MrsGrealish yes that’s why I’m not seeing it as I’m pregnant for now, although there is hope! I had retained products 5 days after miscarriage, seen on the scan. They took a blood test to measure HCG, it was around 900. That night I passed tissue and the bleeding stopped the next day. Went back for 48 hr bloods and HCG had dropped to 400. Did a FRER a week later and the line was fainter but still very positive, then I switched to cheapie dip tests from Amazon which showed negative. So now of course, I’m wondering if the HCG never actually went down and the cheapie tests were faulty 😵‍💫 The positive is that I’m almost certain I ovulated… I’ll retest on Thursday @DM1720

Hi all,
I’ve been watching from afar.
Congratulations to everyone who has had BFP’s in the recent days!
A bit confused and hoping for some advice 😵‍💫
This is our second month of TTC baby number 2. DS is 10 months old (we want them close together). I breastfed for 4 months before stopping. My periods came back straight away and they basically went back to ‘pre-baby’, always 28 days and always regular as clockwork.

We DTD loads this month, including the run up, on ovulation day and then for a few days after. Then we did a final try, not to miss out.

I am 17 DPO and AF was due on Saturday. I have had 2 negative tests…
Any ideas? Do I just keep waiting for AF or do I call doctors? 🤷‍♀️

Hello @Sunshine92 I honestly don’t know! I suppose it is still early days? Which tests are you using? Maybe wait a few days and if negative call gp practise? It could be it’s just taking ages to show :)

Hi ladies,
Congratulations on all with BFPs and 🤞🏻 for those waiting. I am hoping some of you could give me a bit of advise and support please. I sadly had a miscarriage at 8 weeks in Dec 21, which passed naturally. I had a very light bleed when my AF was due in Jan and in Feb had my normal expected AF. I am now meant to be in my ovulation stage, I had signs of ovulation and we have been DTD everyday. Today I have had some brown spotting. I'm so confused, my hormones and brain is all over the place. Any advise would be much appreciated. Thank you x

MrsGrealish · 22/02/2022 20:28

@Sarahmayo could it be ovulation spotting? Or irritation of the cervix when you are DTD. This cervix irritation happened to me about a week ago (haven't let him near me since and now I've got covid I have a valid reason 😂)

Sarahmayo · 22/02/2022 20:49

@MrsGrealish Thanks for your reply. When I was pregnant last year we were scared to DTD, then when we did I started spotting on and off from that point until I miscarried. I'm not thinking that DTD caused the miscarriage but maybe your right I have an easily irritated cervix. It's just such a rollercoaster, I thought I was all back on track to go for it this month, now I'm doubting again and worrying my hormones are still a mess and I'm not even ovulating Confused

Sarahmayo · 22/02/2022 20:50

@MrsGrealish sorry to hear you have Covid btw, hope your not too unwell with it

MrsGrealish · 22/02/2022 21:02

@Sarahmayo I think when you're pregnant the cervix gets more blood to it and irritates more easily? I'm not a doctor or midwife though and if it's a lot of blood I'd defo get it checked xx

MrsGrealish · 22/02/2022 21:05

@Sarahmayo I'm ok. Weird sore throat shivery and joint pain to go with the nausea and sore boobs xx

SurfWaves · 22/02/2022 21:16

Ov day today

smiles39 · 22/02/2022 21:53

Congrats on the BFPs!

AF came a day early, expected after my recent BFNs. But looking at the calendar I’m still in the game for a late November baby this month.

AF can hurry up and go now so I can get back to it! 🤞🏻

Sarahmayo · 22/02/2022 22:38

@MrsGrealish aww I hope you feel better soon. Thanks again for the advise Smile

Charl881 · 23/02/2022 06:58

BFN for me this morning on a FRER. Pretty sure I’m out now and it’s a case of waiting for AF to show.

BiscuitLover3678 · 23/02/2022 07:19

Ahh no @MrsGrealish hope you feeling better soon.
@Charl881 sorry it’s still a bfn, it is hard to not test when others get early positives. But there are plenty that don’t get them till later.
@smiles39 sorry af has got you, baby dust for the next cycle.
Welcome to the newbies. Nothing new here just symptom spotting till I test Friday, driving myself nuts thinking I am then thinking I’m not 🤪.

Coastaldreamer · 23/02/2022 08:55

@Bubblesandballoons I've also told myself I'm not testing again till Friday so it's good to have some company!
