Hey guys,

Okay so just done this test as what flow thinks is 11 days post ovulation. I think I see a hint of a line but worries it's just me seeing things.

Having mucked up cycles is really confusing and flo is also confused this month. For the past couple of cycles I have come on every three weeks. So according to that logic I was due on yesterday. However, no sign of AF other than some light cramps and increased discharge that is different to normal. It feels like I have coke on but when I wipe it's just discharge. Very rare I feel it at all.

I don't see it sorry

loves2plan · 30/01/2022 11:11

I don't see it if I'm honest but my line eyes are rubbish. You're still early PO so id maybe try again in a couple of days with a first response early result test ☺️🤞🏻

Gillseybear · 30/01/2022 11:11

It's fine I think my eyes are just playing tricks on me. I shall leave it to Wednesday to test again. I hate having messed up cycles

Thank you very much. I am going to try again on Wednesday which is when Flo thinks my period is due and see what happens then.

Although I did have my covid booster just before my last AF and so it could be that I ovulated later than I thought. I have brought some OPKs to start trying properly from next month

Hopefully you get the result you want! I got a positive test on the 19th of this month after testing neg on the 14th so it is possible it's just too early to tell 🤞🏻

@loves2plan

Thank you so much for your advice. This is my first month ever actually TTC.

I have fallen pregnant twice before (both times is was on the pill) and I have had two miscarriages. So I am desperately trying not to get my hopes up., flow being incredibly confused is not helpful either. So I will just keep an eye on things and see what happens

Sorry not yet x

loves2plan · 30/01/2022 11:26

My cycles were all over the place when I came off the pill and I use Ovia but it had no clue what was going on 😂 mine are usually quite long, went for an early scan last week thinking I was at 7 weeks ish and they put me at more like 4 so I've gotta go back in a few weeks time 🤦🏼‍♀️ spending all my time now worrying everything's okay. I probably just ovulated much later than I thought, which isn't unusual for me but doesn't help when trying to work out dates etc.

Keep us updated if you do another! ✨

@loves2plan

I know what you mean about cycles being all over the place. For years the doctors thought I had endometriosis. However, after an unrelated hospital stay in November, they actually discovered signs that I might have Adenomyosis. So I have no idea what's going on anymore.

When I came of off the pill in November, I came on the Monday after I stopped taking the pill. Then there was a nearly 7 week gap. Then the last couple have been bang on 3 weeks apart. Although I have never been regular with my cycle. For the first year I got them, I came on ever two weeks and then between 2011 and 2015, I came on between every two weeks and three weeks and six days. So going on the pill at 18 was a godsend as it regulated them. However I was put on the mini pill in 2018 and so I have not really had periods since then. I came of off the mini pill in October 2020 until April last year and they were weird but for a while it was bang on every 4 weeks. I restarted taking it in may last year as I got with my current partner. I gave up in November as it started giving me 3 week long incredible heavy period every other month.

Sounds quite similar to me! I started having periods at 14 then didn't have one for 8 months, went on the pill which 'regulated' them but I decided at 23 I was going to come off it all together and just use condoms. Was with exP at that point but we weren't TTC, I was just worried about the effects on my fertility and long term MH. That was around 5 years ago and my cycles are still super irregular now. Been fortunate enough with DP that we have caught on without putting too much effort into TTC (only about 2 months since we decided we weren't going to bother with contraception and see what happens) but now I'm worried all the time about the pregnancy instead 😂

Gillseybear · 30/01/2022 13:51

@loves2plan it's so weird how it all works. This is our first month TTC and so was not expecting anything straight away it's just annoying not have a set understanding of what my body is doing and why I feel the way I do. I was hoping I might get clear answers today but we will see I guess.

Hopefully if you wait a couple more days and try again (the first response ones are really well recommended and if you try first thing in the morning) then you'll get your result 🤞🏻

Thank you ever so much. I shall buy some FRERs and test again on Wednesday which is when Flo believes I am due on

Hey guys,

So I woke up this morning to discover that I am spotting. Still no sign of my AF but it's there when I wipe. Could this be implantation bleeding???

@Gillseybear unfortunately there's no way to know (yet). You didn't track your ovulation, right? If I read correctly you just go with the calculation of the apps, so there's no way of knowing exactly when you ovulated, so yes sure it could be implantation, but also the start of your AF.
You'll know more in two days - if it was implantation, a FRER should be able to pick hcg up by then. Fingers crossed!

I didn't track it for this first month TTC as my cycles are all over the place and so it's hard to track. I have tried in the past to track it because of appointment with gynaecology and it's been really difficult to track as it's never the same from one cycle to the next. So I just thought that as I enter everything in Flo, it would give me roughly accurate dates. I have brought OPKs for the future though
