How long after implantation bleeding did you get BFP?

I’m clutching at straws a bit. AF due yesterday and didn’t arrive but BFNs on Clear Blue and IC this morning.

I had a bit of spotting on Wednesday which I thought could have been implantation bleeding - this would have been 9/10dpo. I’m now 12/13dpo. Am I out? How long does it usually take to get a BFP after IB?

Takes 48 hours for hormones to double so normally 2 days after ib you would get a result.

@Babyghirl I imagine I’m out then as the spotting I had was on Wednesday and now 12/13 dpo

Depends on your starting rate of hcg and whether you’re just doubling every 48 hours, or increasing more than that.

E.g.
IB day, 10dpo: 1 hcg
12dpo: 2 hcg
14dpo: 4 hcg
16dpo: 8 hcg – should show on a FRER

vs

10dpo/IB: 4 hcg
12dpo: 8 hcg or more if more than doubling, positive FRER

So you’re not out until AF shows.

I am currently experiencing similar. I had spotting when wiping Tuesday Wednesday but it was light pink it's stopped since. Negative test this morning. So confused myself I wish you luck x
